I have the older ones. They sound pretty good for what they cost and the new ones could only sound better. I'd recommend them. :)
The sign of a true Apple fan - recomending something s/he has never even used!

Personally, if I was going to spend $80 on a set of buds, I would buy from a company that has far more experience in bud production than Apple.

You should try $1800 dollar grado PS1s ("real" cans).

You're kidding right? I know you don't, i found them on the internet but... Damn! Why should anyone buy so expensive headphones?

Guys, with those prices i think you've convinced me to buy Apple's headphones!

Well, of course there's a point where one must make up their mind where the cut-off point for dwindling returns is, but I actually own those headphones –*I got them for $1100, which is ridiculously cheap, all things considered.

Headphones (and speakers) are where the sound is actually reproduced, so this is where quality matters most,

On the other hand, I'm willing to bet you can get much, much better headphones for those same $80 if you bought from someone else. With $80 bucks to buy headphones you can get some pretty decent ones (all things considered and compared to the standard headphones) but buying apple's will give you a quality of around $30 or $40. I'd certainly go somewhere else.

Nice! That's the TV I am eyeballing for when I get my own place. I already have my BluRay player. Just need a nicer TV to replace my Sylvania 26"... My current TV makes a nice bedroom TV, cheap and who cares... But I been putting money aside for when I move. So I can have a nice TV. I will worry about the sound system later... It cost to much to go the Movies... I much rather have a kick ass theater. But yea, I am looking at a Town House in Orlando. I will probably grab that if my friend wants to move out of her parents house. We been talking about being room mates. I hope so, make things a bit cheaper. Also put us in a nicer place, there for bigger living room. Gives me more options for the theater. If not, I am eye balling a nice one bedroom, near my brother.

The Coldplay album is fine but really Britney Spears:eek:

Oh! Ha ha, I somehow thought that the first one was a poster and the next a piece of cheap art. Man, I need to go buy some more music.

On the other hand, I don't like Spears nor Coldplay. :p

what would you say about a $400 westone 3 Iem's?

I'd say good job on buying some good IEMs. I would've bought them too, but I recently got the Shure se530 for $320, so I gotta take a break from headphone buying for a while.

And to those out there who think $80 is a lot for headphones, you obviously don't love your music
