bummer :( mine shipped, I'm sure it will go back down soon though. I'll be sad when they release it on blu ray though.

Hope it's better than the previous models, The Sinking Barge and Customary Barge. Loved mine at first, until I really travelled with it and used it for weeks on end.

My baggage was over the weight limit by a few kg, so I emptied my Sinking Barge out and threw it out at the airport.

Yourse looks OK though. Looks like they fixed one of my biggest gripes with the bag. Lets hope that when your MBP is inside, and you stuff the general compartment with crap like a water bottle, jumper/hoodie, etc, that the laptop isn't compressed so tightly within the laptop compartment that a small scratch is left on your screen. My poor MacBook. :(

I've used three separate Crumpler bags in the past - all messenger style - and they've all been excellent. Because of my experiences with Crumpler I had no hesitation in choosing this backpack.

It seems very well padded and thought out - each section is distinct and protected enough that there should be no physical contamination from one section to the other.

But if I find any problems, I'll post!

OK. ;)

For what it's worth, the new design (i.e. your backpack) does seem better, although if you could check out whether your laptop gets compressed a lot, that would be great. If it does, I'd put something between the screen and keyboard. I use a piece of paper.

I've been planning on getting the Lowepro CompuRover AW, or maybe that other, cheaper slingbag-style Lowepro bag that also carries a laptop. I've had a decent enough experience with my Lowepro Slingbag 200 that I can recommend them.
