Got it for about 56 bucks not bad. I am debating about swapping with laptop. Good timing too my job (from talks) may start laying off people and I want to get my files I worked on its over 40gbs.

I got it at Staples President Sales, had a 20 gift card and 90 off for 300 purchase so my friend got 100 LCD 19in for 80 and my bro in law got 1tb 3.5 for 80. Not bad overall. I think Mac Rumors should have its own section for deals in Mac category. I see people posting good deals all over the place and a place to share coupons.

I always liked the D40 a lot. You'll probably want to get the 55-200 lens though, which is an additional 200 dollars, but I suppose you could get it for less if you looked around, and much less if you get a used one.

Debating for a month now. I sold my MSI Wind; I really wanted to get a Mac mini, but then I realized I would also need to get a display, keyboard, mouse. Yikes.

So today I dropped a cool G on a polycarbonate MacBook.

What I can I say, I love it. It's got 2GB of RAM which all I need and it's got NVIDIA graphics, so it pretty much ready for OpenCL; it isn't flashy at all; might take this to classes instead of my MacBook Pro. I upgraded the HDD to a 250GB drive I had lying around.

:eek:Damn you! No it happened because the damned vacuum fell on it:rolleyes:

I seriously have never been that frustrated in my life. Those stupid little black things in the back that hold the pictures/cardboard in were killing my fingers and effing tiny little specs of dust kept getting in between the mat and glass. Every. Single. Time. All I wanted to do was get them up before I threw them out the window. :mad:

This new Slappa bag just came today and I'm loving it!! cool looking on the outside...sexy on the inside!! Quality is insane too. Me likey a lot!!

Both story mode and multiplayer mode are amazing! Ive spent so many hours with friends playing that game (all the minigames like capture the flag/money bag etc. are fantastic as well). I got it when I was about twelve years old and its probably my favorite game ever, next to Super Mario 64 off course!

If only there was some sort of technology that would let you have more than one document open on your computer screen at once, like maybe a movie and a word processing document... ;)
