i had to go for next day shipping and received it yesterday. i love it. it will be my main computer. it is quite an adjustment from a 20 inch imac but well worth it in my case.

2.0 GHZ

it was a toss up between the incase hard shell to protect the mac at all times with the chance of overheating..OR the applesac for transportation.

we'll see how the applesac goes.

Ditto that one for me too. Ordered from refurb store Monday morning with a mini displayport to DVI adapter and got them both yesterday. Was a little wary after 2 DOA white Macbooks, but so far this one seems great.

the macbook disappeared from the refurb site on sunday night just as i was going to place my order and i was so impatient i decided to just purchase a new one.
monday morning they were back and i was so mad at myself!
i used the education discount but still could have saved myself $150! :(

Ha I guess the old saying is true: "Patience is a virtue" :p
In a few months you'll be so in love with it, you'll forget you paid $150 too much.

I watched the Apple refurb store like a hawk and pounced on the uMB 2.0 as soon as I saw it on there. I considered the 2.4, but couldn't justify the extra $300 for the differences.

My friend and I just got it today and been playing it online against each other and god are we terrible... especially me

I got it just for fun, wanted to see what RIM was doing with other handsets! Ill have a review up soon!

So are you paying full price each time??? I'd love to do this, but it'd be a hassle to keep buying and unlocking... I'd really like to hear what you think of it!! :)

After 6 defect white MacBook exchanges, I settled for that as well.

I probably haven't loved games as much since the days of Street Fighter 2 (perhaps Final Fantasy VII). I'm seriously jone'in for one of these systems.

Haven't played video games in over 10 years. Think I'll be rusty? :p

Even if you had purchased the Incase hard-shell, you probably would have needed something like the AppleSac anyway. It absorbs and softens blows better than a completely hard case.

Anyway, you made the right choice. ALL the cases I've seen have uglified their laptops, and realistically, the chances of something happening to your laptop while it's being used is pretty low. Not a lot of stray baseballs and bullets shoot through the air where I come from. Just keep it in the AppleSac when you're moving it around.

It's a nice laptop. :)

Haha, most likely. :) It had been a very long time for me as well. When SF II HD remix or what not hit XBL, I downloaded it to get a feel for the moves again. So far I have been holding my own with my favorite character (Guile) winning 27/40 online matches. Now when I get to the ranked matches, I am sure to get owned due to my rust.

made a few upgrades to the imac..
Wireless keyboard & 2 gb ram at crucial. Great price and two day shipping!
