That's not the same drive. I got the 7200rpm, got Hitachi because the last 500Gb 7200 i got was a Seagate and it was making noises like crazy.

Oh my bad. I looked again at the reviews and I am pretty impressed. Looks like a upgrade that would be worth it in the near future. Saving up so I can buy a Apple Display. Thanks again man. Lloyd

Multiple Academy Award winner. I will not even give it the time of day because it didn't deserve any of them, especially Best Picture.

Got my Vox enclosure for my 3.5" drive that I got for 35$ off ebay a few weeks ago. The enclosure was like 10 bucks. Not bad for external storage for under 50$. 7200 Hitachi Deskstar 320GB drive. Very speedy even though it is under USB. I also have my 160 stock drive from the macbook in an enclosure as seen in the photo.

Only downside is I had to go into Windows 7 on my wife's Compaq 610 and initialize the drive. :p I don't really like Windows anymore so I was fumbling with keys and commands LOL. Works great though! Partitioned the Hitachi to 2, and using 100 gigs for Time Machine, and 200 for storage. Keeping it at home. Then I take the 160 gig notebook drive with me for itunes and whatever. Setup is working good now.

80gig ssd in macbook so I needed these things :D

Recently after many failed attempts at watching Bluray disks on my Mac… mainly due to WinDVD 2010 and PowerDVD 10 both crashing in Windows via VM, I settle on a real Bluray player. Too bad I don't have a TV and my Dell monitor doesn't have any processing systems inside (so it can't even scale non-native resolutions (ie: 720p, 1080p, etc.—only 2 resolutions: 1280x800 and 2560x1600).

So I bought—

A PS3 Slim to watch movies on

Since I love racing games, I figured… might as well

Of course to complement the wheel

I also bought a 15ft Super Max Gold-plated HDMI cable (that's what it says on the packaging) for the super max price of $5 shipped. To complete the set, I bought an Toslink optical to RCA coaxial converter and a RCA coaxial to 3.5mm mono cable. So I'm ready to connect the video and the audio.

Those all have arrived, but I can't do anything without the monitor… should get to me by next week—Dell 3008WFP

On an unrelated note, I don't like my new AC adapter, so I bought one of the old style
