I think you need to take your car to a good quality mechanic before something really bad happens. It is not your luck there are some problems under that hood. Brake calipers don't just lock up from normal use.
Unfortunately, those were all over the course of three different cars. I just have had terrible luck.
True story.... I bought a used Monte Carlo w/ a three month warranty, and the transmission went out in month four. Had it replaced, and it went out on the 13th month of a 1-year warranty. Said screw it, and bought this new Grand Prix. 36K mile warranty, and my transmission in it went out at 38K miles.
Different mechanics, different cars.... crap, the only control is me! But, I quite honestly, am *never* hard on my car, and *always* get maintenance at the recommended intervals. Just really craptastic luck!
So, if anyone cares... *PLEASE* wish the best for me, and hope this steering problem is cheap!
