$150 for a Kindle is an amazing price. $300 was way too high (IMO), but sub $200 is a perfect price.
My thoughts exactly. I was on the fence about buying an e-reader, but at that price, it was a steal. With Calibre, I was able to very easily convert epubs to the mobibook format, so I didn't have any problem loading my existing library of books over to the reader. I recommend the software to anybody who uses a kindle, nook, or anything like that.

Well, Schneiderman did it. I blame him :p

Picked up TomSawyer's D90 kit for $775. 1300 clicks and bought in March from Amazon. Very nice!

It wasn't completely an impulse buy because of Schneiderman. Going to sell my D200 and 17-55mm f2.8 to net back to me about $600 for bills. Although I probably will be getting the 18-200mm VR II. It is about $600 on ebay right now lol. There goes the money for bills..

Pictured is the set up I want.

You know what? You did good.

Have you ever tried these? Are they anything like the Ketchup chips?
Lays-Garden-Tomato-Basil.gif

I really like these as well. There is some new parmesan kind that is really not very good but subway is really pushing them.

My favorite Lay's chip flavor was the "cool guacamole" ...man they were so good...

I have the Acer H233H, I love the H series monitors. Very comparable display to my Macbook. The colors are pretty right on and the profile from the acer, works good on my MB. Well with minor gamma tweaks. I like em.

Anyways my latest purchase was my design studio to conduct my business operations. : ) Graphic Design, Photography and whatever else. I am going to blow up some prints for sale too. Last purchase would be the lighting that you see and the studio itself. 2nd floor inside this nice little plaza on the Main Street here in my town. Wish me luck! Oh, you can't see it but there is an Apple sticker right on my f r o n t door. : ) Screw the haters!

Bought or rental?

Rental. : ) Brother has some property and is building his own office building and said I could rent from him dirt cheap so until then I will stay in this place. I'm going to invite him over tomorrow while I am there doing some homework and he will see how much space I need. I'm going to tell him I need about that much that I have, just with no divided wall. Rent is cheap though! 490 a month, INCLUSIVE with fiber optic internet for 25 more a month. It's sweet!

Although I've never owned anything made by Acer, but I've always thought of Acer as a low-end brand. liljohnny51, Krafty, what's your opinion of these monitors and Acer in general?

I am running a 22" Acer monitor since 2007- it has been flawless the past three years. It came shipped in excellent condition- not a single dead pixel and two sets of data cables included. The display itself is fairly bright, and is comparable to the ones made by HP and Dell (in 2007).

Sounds like I may have had the wrong impression of Acer. Thanks.
