Omron 7 Series BP652 Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor
Every time I go to the doctors my blood pressure is always high. I wanted to make sure it wasn't something serious so I bought a monitor and tested myself at home.
Looks like I only had "white coat hypertension" all along...

Definitely take it to your doctor to compare. I am surprised to hear your doctor uses the same model or any wrist model at that but that is good to hear. I too thought there was a possibility for pre-hypertension because my BP was always high when I saw the doctor. I kept telling him it was him but he was worried. Turns out I am pretty fine all things considering.FYI: I don't know how true this is, but I read recently that the wrist blood pressure monitors aren't as accurate as the variety the goes on your arm.
The reason wrist monitors supposedly aren't as good as those that go on your upper arm has everything to do with where your heart is. I guess you want the monitor level with your heart so if you can measure your BP with your wrist level with your heart then it is perfect. I assure you, the wrist model is probably much less of a pain in the ass to secure correctly around your arm than mine is. Same brand as well.
