Car stuff. I ordered some magnetic SCCA Solo class identifiers to go with my magnetic car numbers. GoPoint is also shipping their bluetooth OBDII scanner once again, so I ordered one. It delivers engine-related telemetry to combine with GPS positional data in Harry's Lap Timer/Track Addict HD for HPDE/autoX events. I have been trying the wifi based Plx Kiwi2 with poor results.

Where'd ya get the letters, Cliff?

I've tried the Kiwi as well, very slow at updating.

Some golf clubs, Callaway X20's from Callaway Preowned. Just need a bag, putter. Woods later after getting the irons down.

Soon to put a picture of the home we are in the middle of closing on. Just don't want to tempt fate!

One for the vintage camera collection

So i managed to find a early 1960's Bell and Howell 414 Cine camera, complete with box and manuals for $9.99 its coming from the United States to the UK, so postage was a bit steep, but I think it was worth it.

Its a pretty important camera being the same model as the one Abraham Zapruder used to capture the assassination of JFK back in 1963.

Overall pretty pleased with this addition and will go next to my JVC GR-C1.

You may want to limit the number of data channels you have the OBDII scanner transmit. From what I understand, it is that which primarily affects update frequency.

I am not able to maintain a reliable connection between TrackAddict/Harry's Lap Timer and the Kiwi. I am hoping the bluetooth connection is more stable. The BT connection between my Dual GPS receiver and the iPhone is solid. Plus that would let me use wifi to control the GoPro if I want.

Congrats on the acceptance!!

Thats not too bad, it could've been worse. You could have gone to a private university. Now I heard those tuition costs are sky high

Thanks!

And yeah you're right, my only out-of-pocket cost is $1,700 for tuition + $1,400 for books. I was fortunate enough to get some federal grants and an Academic Excellence Grant since I graduated with a Honors Associates Degree from my local community college. Some of my friends are paying $30-$40k/yr for their private universities.

EDIT: Here's a kick in the balls for ya. One of my friends graduated from Loyola University Chicago with $160,000 in debt for a Bachelors of Psychology.

Nice looking place. Congrats

Thanks. I've been renting a nearby place for 6 years now. This was the first house we looked at. Never could get it out of our minds.

New PSU for my HF radio setup. It's a hefty unit. In addition to the heat sink it has a fan that kicks in if it's required. If you load the set to it's full 100W potential, it does heat up

Man, all those "little" add-ons. Reads like a phone bill on steroids.
My favorite is the Health Service Fee. It allows students to go see the University Psychiatrist whenever we feel the need is necessary. Free drugs! :D :p

This wonky color-changing candle:

In case I haven't made it clear, this is a wonky color-changing candle.

Had my cousin come for a visit and roped him into playing with my team this past week. He was swinging one of these and a gal on my team took a crack and launched a 280+ft homer with it. I have since picked it up for my bag haha.

Just ordered this hand made vintage leather dice game cup. I plan to use it for a pen and pencil cup.I thought it was kind of unusual and cool...
