Bought a new house. Moved in today :)

Great success!

I also picked up a OnePlus One 64GB Sandstone, but you can't buy one. Unless you're invited apparently, sorry. You could technically buy it from a third party at a higher price though, which I don't recommend you do.

I picked up an iHome bluetooth speaker for less than $100. It’s rechargeable, portable and has pretty decent sound for the price.

I'll be curious to know how long it lasts you. I had one, a red one, and it barely lasted 7 or 8 months. The Bluetooth was shoddy at best and would either not start at all or would cut out after a few minutes. It was fine at first and gradually got worse as time went on. By the end, even the USB interface quit working.

I hate to bring down on your new purchase, but I had such a bad experience with one that I needed to share it.

I do hope that yours does better than the one I had.

Great phone. Had mine for a month. Hasn't let me down yet. Its got amazing reception, which is great for me since I often work below ground or far from towers. And its got the battery life to match.

I just purchased VMware 7. I've been using the demo for v6 for about a week. I'm glad I didn't buy v6 right away!

Um, thanks, I think. :)

Seriously, I do appreciate your feedback. We will see how long it lasts. I had a Jambox for a while, but it just flat crapped out just over a year after purchase.

Well, I spent a week in London recently, and my recent purchases include a pair of Church's shoes, and another pair made by a lovely company called Peter & Porter, two nice belts, a briefcase (actually, two briefcases now that i blush to recall), a Mont Blanc pen, several bespoke shirts for work, some Indian cotton shirts for casual wear, several books, a set of solid silver Art Deco espresso (tea) spoons, cheese board knives,……

However, as my camera spools film, alas, none of these marvels can be shown…..

Yeah, I hope yours works better than mine did. But I swore off iHome products after that thing.

Yes, its a D620. Both the spares unit and my workshop rig. Maybe sometime in the future I'll hackintosh it. But right now its running a very boring, albeit slightly modified version of Windows XP due to compatibility issues. I'll give Seven a spin once the SSD arrives, but some of the software is use had final versions released before Seven. And sometimes, the occasional bug is already too many to accept.

GOBI is a global WWAN/3G card I'm installing in case I someday need to use TIS on the road where I don't have wifi.

Beck - Sea Change (Pure Audio)

Will be my first taste of pure audio.. Hopefully I'm not disappointed.

You are in for a treat. Blu-ray audio is very nice sounding, especially on a nice sound system. This disk is mastered in 5.1 audio with 24/192 audio. I like Beck. He makes good music.

Buy a scanner and they can.

I indulged my inner hoon and bought a cold air intake for the car.

I have been following Martian watches since i saw them on kickstarter. I am waiting to see what Apple has in store for an iWatch. If they release an iBracelet, i will give Martian a chance, or maybe the moto360.

My only gripe is that the band is not made for large wristed people. Im using the last hole on the band. Hoping Martian will make a extra large in the future.

Nice lookin pad!

Great success!

Thanks!

I couldn't stay away from Mac for long. Despite being a life long Windows user, I missed OS-X and dislike Windows 8.1 still. But I always missed the ability to tinker with and upgrade hardware when I tried a Mac Mini for a year last year. I have been contemplating an ex-lease Mac Pro for a while as a solution to this conundrum for a while when I spotted this 4,1 4 Core for around half what they normally sell for at this end of the world. Plus the fact that my 24" screen was damaged while moving house, and this one came with a 23" cinema display included, made it too good a deal to pass up. :)

Going to upgrade my keyboard gear this month :D Been eying for the Fantom X6 for a loong time. Looks amazing even if it's an old keyboard (which I love because of the older sounds) and of course the SRX 06 expansion board. Woo!
