Some M6 bolts, some longer M6 bolts and some M10 washers.
Was moving a wall mounted TV from the bedroom to the craft room, and putting a new one in the bedroom. Needless to say nothing fitted so I needed some different ones.

MacBook Air, purchased a few days ago.

And 15 minutes later, a new router with WiFi to use with the Air.

Yeah, yeah, people have long since had this, but where I'm at is was only about 4 years ago that we got broadband when 3BB strung fibre around the neighbourhood. The connection I got to my apartment went straight to my Mac Mini, with no WiFi.

Cotton turtlenecks from Brooks Brothers.

Actually, it was a little more complicated than that.

I had ordered two polo shirts (I subsequently also ordered some turtlenecks).

One polo shirt and one very classy fine merino wool crew neck sweater arrived; I wrote to them seeking advice on how best to proceed, as I had not ordered the merino crew-cut, but two polo shirts.

Very kindly, they - that is, Brooks Brothers - replied after a number of days, suggesting that I keep the merino pullover, (rather than going to the trouble of retaining it) and perhaps presenting it as a gift to a friend or family member while also making clear that they would despatch the proper order (the second polo shirt) promptly at no cost to me.

Excellent, prompt and courteous service.

Which no doubt will mean you use them again. When somebody finds a good service, it's always a long term relationship you enter into.

Well, my brother is now the proud owner of the fine merino wool sweater - and very happy with it.

Yes, I was impressed by the service, (and by the quality of their products).

Conversely, when service is poor, I never shop with or buy from the company in question.

Agreed. Or if they are rude. Or just plainly incompetent.

Agreed on rudeness, - it is unnecessary - or pure incompetence; these would also ensure that I would never use those companies again.

In fact, decent, prompt and professional customer service - iPods that had died while under warranty were replaced without any problems or attempts to seek refuge in obscure small-print and sub-clauses - was one of the main reasons I switched to Apple a decade ago.

Replaced an inadequate sound system with a new one in my small home.

HUGE Sonos fan.

Went with the Playbase over the Beam and very happy with my set up. The addiction is adding speakers when they go on sale and putting them in every corner of my house.
