Apple-iPhone-SE-GOLD-A.jpg

Kiddo's iPhone 5s is on it's last legs, and she took great care of it while she had it, so she's getting a new SE. While some might say that's spoiling her, I look at it as a reward for showing that she can take care of what she has.
I don't feel like it's spoiling at all. My foster girls came with phones and they are not good at taking care of them at all. They refuse to keep them in the otterboxes (I know not cool) but the at least the older one has managed to keep hers from breaking. The younger has a wifi only 4s with a shattered back and now will only charge to the minimum after supposedly being soaked with condensation from a water bottle (a dip in the pool sounds more likely to me). If one can take care of their stuff then I have no issue with getting them expensive items.

It helps that we've pounded into her that if it's an accident, that we're not going to freak out. But she knows accident means "I dropped my iPhone onto my desk and the screen cracked", not "I was riding my bike holding the iPhone and I dropped it". She actually did the first one, and I know for a fact that was the case. No big deal, AppleCare took care of it. It was an actual accident. If it were the latter, I'd probably be mad because the issue could have been avoided.

PaperLike for iPad Pro 10.5 Quite a good addition to the iPad as now it’s a lot more practical to draw/write on.

Mini Cooper S Countryman. Been wanting a Mini Cooper since I saw the original Italian Job with my dad as a kid.

The wife has been on at me that she wants to be able to use my monitor when she's working from home. I'd reorganised my cables and clearly labelled the two she needed to pull from my Mac Pro each time, but it was all to no avail. Often I would come home to find her starting at her laptop with a sea of cables surrounding her.

I decided to buy a KVM Switch, eventually setting on the Mini DisplayPort version from StarTech.

Happy Wife, Happy Life!
