So I took 3 hours to find a Christmas gift and I couldn’t wait until so I saw her today and she loves it. Maybe I need to find another gift for Christmas now. I wanted to buy a bracelet first but they were too bling bling. Instead I found a wallet that, I believe look classy.

With Xmas being stuck at home due to tough lockdown measures and the new year looking like i’ll be working from home a lot, I decided to treat myself to some wireless over ear Bluetooth headphones. I did my research with a budget of £200 but so many reviews pointed towards these Soundcore Life Q30’s. they were £79.99 on Amazon but yesterday there was an offer for 25% off. I’m no audiophile but the sound quality is really good, chuffed with them! :)

I finally got an Uplift Desk. It is so nice to be able to dial in the height when sitting (my old desk was too short for me to use all day...downside to being tall) and also nice to get up and stand for a few hours. I also ordered an Amazon arm for my main monitor and an adapter from Samsung.

You can't tell a lot from the attached photo (will get proper photos when everything is setup...still a work in progress.), but you can see the faux walnut top and keyboard attachment). I have it pulled out from the wall, so it raises in front of the TV.

I should also be getting the M1 Mini that I ordered sometime today. It is a 16GB model with 1 terabyte of space.

Yes it will. Bad sadly you can’t bulk buy it can you? Because of all my wife’s food allergies we eat it 3-5 times a week as it’s one of a few foods she can eat without ill effects.

I'd recommend buying it in bulk - to some extent - and keeping it in the vegetable drawer in the fridge; this time of year, it'll keep easily for the best part of a fortnight, and things may have improved somewhat by then.

It’s already full. But things won’t be better in a fortnight. Worse I imagine. Things at the ports are terrible. I have containers that have already missed their docking schedule by three weeks.

Ouch.

Grim stuff.

Well, fresh broccoli will keep (as I have discovered this winter) in the vegetable drawer of the fridge for the best part of a fortnight.

Otherwise, I'd recommend buying frozen broccoli and using it as needed, even though - personally, - I far prefer fresh broccoli.

The freezer is most definitely full at the moment. The reason Mrs AFB goes vegetable shopping twice a week is the fresher it is the less reaction she had to it. But hopefully we are able to find a continued supply somewhere.

Ring / Amazon had some deals that came in time for the new house I’m moving to in a few weeks!
That is some awesome stuff. I have the doorbell and security system. Looking at adding some cameras around the house now that we bought our first home and won't be moving every 2-3 years (military). Looks like you have an amazing set up right there!

One of my most recent purchases. For some reason my old mouse stopped working so it was time for a new one. $79 to $99 was just not something I wanted to spend for an original one.
