An OpenBSD workstation

I purchased the components together. Then I put the computer together myself in about four hours.
My previous custom computers never malfunctioned and had better CPU/GPU temperatures than Apple hardware.
The average lifespan of the computers I put together myself is >20 years and always without any defect.
It is also cheaper to assemble the computer yourself than to purchase a prebuild.
For the same performance Apple charges 3 times more money.
OpenBSD code also has fewer bugs than macOS and OpenBSD has no history of privacy abuse.
While Apple has an extensive history of privacy abuse.
I gave you a thumbs up on your build... since I'm a fan of PC builds. I've been building PC rigs for decades... as you can see a few in my sig. I'm planning a new PC rig build when Nvidia RTX 50XX series releases... 5090 for sure... but I'm a fan of all tech. I own a Mac, and use android/iOS devices... I love them all in their own unique way. Apple can be pricey, but I usually spend as much or more on my PC rigs I build... and the performance is what I need for the applications I use it for.An OpenBSD workstation

Thermal underwear would also make my list. May they give you some warmth in the coming months.Woollen socks (well, winter is upon us), woollen pullovers (again, winter), winter chinos, a pair of jeans, and coffee.

Do you intend to use your fountain pen in the Moleskine ?A Moleskine diary for 2025.
Yes.Do you intend to use your fountain pen in the Moleskine ?
This is the diary I have been buying for a number of years; portable, easy to use, a soft leather cover, and it comes with very good quality paper (for a diary). It also comes with a small sleeve on the inside back cover, - very handy when someone scribbles something down on a piece of paper and you wish to hold onto it, and ensure that you do not misplace it.People seem to have mixed feelings about its fountain pen friendliness.
Yes.

When writing in it, I tend to use either my Mont Blanc Meisterstuck (144) fountain pen, or my Meisterstuck Ballpoint pen; both work well.
e past decade.
And I adore - just adore - the Leuchtturm1917 (A5) notebooks; the quality of the paper, the size, the number of leaves (pages) and the sheer pleasure of being able to write in it with a fountain pen - make this my favourite notebook of all time. Actually, this is a notebook that I have been using for th
Thank you.So good to hear your enthusiasm about the Moleskine, enjoy !
They are pricey - this was my second purchase in that particular shop, or store, today. And yes, Leuchtturm1917 notebooks are top quality - but I find them rather pricey.
In the past, I have also used Rhodia, - they came recommended - but, to be quite candid, I found that the quality of the paper used in the Leuchtturm1917 notebook was far, far, better, and far easier and more comfortable to write on..I'm about to finish my Rhodia "Webby", not so happy with its coated paper. So I'm still thinking about what to choose for my next notebook.
Thinking of switching to Kobo, how you finding it? I guess you can't compare it to Kindle but still would like to know.
