The Ergotron MX can hold the 30". The LX is of similar quality (far better than Neo-Flex) but not sufficient for >24".

Yeah the Neo-Flex is a little wobbly, enough for a single 20", but not more.
I always wanted a LX because you can hook up more than one display arm to the stand itself but I always wondered how much inches a single arm can handle.
Apparently not enough for me. Thanks for the information.

Is the MX able to lift a 30" that high, that it can be rotated?

BTW: I absolutely love your office setup. It's just gorgeous!

Finally got a couple pictures of my setup:

The extra mouse and keyboard are for my PC that I have running through the monitor for gaming. I really need an Apple Wireless keyboard and a wireless mouse/keyboard for my PC so I can hide them underneath when I'm not using them.

What mounts are that? Ergotron LX?
I am still searching for one's that can hold up a 30" screen. The Ergotron Neo-Flex is too weak, I tried that.

Nah, it's the Ergotron MX (p/n: 45-228-026), supports more than enough for most 30" displays - don't forget, you weigh the display without the stock deskstand, in the case of the Dell, that's about 2.5Kg lighter! :D

Im with you on this one. Pictures of everything else.

Maybe he can't afford the downtime? If he's in the rendering business, I don't imagine there's a lot of opportunities to open up the case for a photo op.

maybe its like this?

I know stuff takes time to render after designing, so he could use that free time to take a pic or two. Doesnt have to be a centerfold photo op, just like 3 pics so we know he's not lying (or being like Mac Pro Demon)

How has the switch from a Pro to an Air been for you? I've been debating the switch, simply because I loathe the 'glass' screen on my 13" Pro. For everyday use how much do you notice the step down in processor speed? Do you miss the glass trackpad from the Pro? I love it on mine, but dunno if I want to lose that by going to the Air.

I tried to install the famous screen saver on my new MacBook Pro today and it didn't work on the 10.6. Shame, shame.
