I've recently completed digitizing some old cassette tapes of songs and bits I'd recorded over several years.
I'm about to find out what Garageband can really do after having so far used it to play around with tracks.

Figured I might as well start converting some old commercial tapes as well. Of course some of them are now pretty much useless but the good ones I'll keep, using filters in software and the Sony cassette deck hardwired switches.

included are some past setups.

I love these utilitarian-type setups. Looks like people actually using their Macs... seen enough "clean desk, newest Macbook" setups to last me a lifetime (sorry everyone else). :D

What is this lamp that you have, and how much was it? :)

At woodies DIY here in ireland. 30 bucks. Very powerful. Had to turn it off on the 2nd pic because it darkened everything. Swivel too. LED light. Great when shooting videos as it covers yourself and the backround.

Diet hehe. Seriously school has me soo bloody tired that drink is my life saver.

I would never use a TV as my only external monitor, but if this is what you want...

I do but I use mine strictly for watching flicks, I still have a port for a third monitor should I decide to expand further maybe I might hook up a projector and paint one of the walls silver.

Does that mean that people with clean setups including up to date products, don't actually use their Macs?

so ive wanted a laptop stand for a while but didnt feel like spending $50 on a nice one. so i built one.

i took a shelf looking thing off an old desk, cut off the edge of it, made sure everything was nice and smooth as not to scratch my mbp and super glued some cigar tubes to it. lol.

i put a felt pad in the back and the front lip to keep it from getting scratched if it does slide around a bit.

Skin

Thanks! I live in Vancouver, BC. And the skin is from Unique Skins. I got the wallpaper from somewhere and used it to make a custom one. Pretty quick service.

We have virtually same set up. The Macbook pro under the HP screen fits perfectly.

Looks like yours is elevated too.
