My current setup as of late, I love large desks that I can grow into, right now it houses my 12" Powerbook G4, but within a year I hope for it to support my 27" iMac, secondary display, Printer, and a small docking station for my current Powerbook/future Macbook.

and yes I am considering cord management soon for those wires.

+1 for love of the Mariners! Born and raised Wash State! How is it there? Also, what is that Powerbook/iBook? Cant tell from the image really :p

lol is it safe to say you're asking because he has two Mac Pros in that setup?

One is a PowerMac G5 and the other is a Mac Pro. Look at the number of optical drives, the G5 has only 1.

Or it's his hackintosh in the G5 case.

You are correct, it is a hackintosh. Really nice job on it too, saw it in a previous thread.

Oh thats's right! I even remember reading that thread

G5 is a hackintosh, Mac Pro is genuine

G5's = 1 CD/DVD Drive
Mac Pros = 2 CD/DVD Drive

My updated setup

Well, it's a new year, and I think it's about time I posted my updated setup. Most of the equipment was bought a couple of months ago.

Click on the pictures for a larger version.

Not pictured: iPhone 3G 16 GB Black
Specs in sig.

I use the Time Capsule as a server for the Mac Mini media center.
And yes, all the furniture is from IKEA :)

My latest purchase 27" iMac 2.8Ghz i7 8gb RAM and 15.4" MacBook Pro 2.53Ghz 320GB 7200RPM HD..

Hi Thiagos. What are the dimensions of your desk. Width and length. Am asking is I am thinking of purchasing a 27" imac but only have space for a desk 100 cm wide. Was trying to picture how it would look in real...

Thanks for your help...

Hang on a minute....

The pic shows 1 UniMBP and one ClassicMBP, but the Classic never came with a 30.6Ghz option, and definitely not in the 15".

Also, spent all that money on new tech, and still cant take nice clear photos? Spend $300 on a good Panny Lumix or something.

What personal use requires an XServe too? Although, to be fair, if i had the cash to splash, i'd get one to play around with. But i also would of got a Mac Pro instead of one of the iMacs :p

Funny..
The new one is 3.06 and the old one is 2.6. I guess that was the highest when I bought it. I thought it was 3.06 tho..but w/e

I posted these at like 5 in the morning and I took them with a Nokia N97, which is supposed to be good. My camera wasn't charged, and my 3GS is broken..having a hard time finding a new one where I am.

The Xserve and one of the iMac i7 are going to be for my office, but the rest are for home. I have no need for a Mac Pro at home.

Simple set up, MBP is my main computer and the iMac G4 is the "media" computer connected to surround sound system. The macbook usually just sits there unused :(

emac is now my guest computer in the extra room...

I love that old imac G3:)
