]

I have a room that has a slanted ceiling like that. Was considering an L-desk for more space and that seems to work out fine!

Updated a few things since the last post (on the old thread if I recall).

Left Desk
-2.53Ghz Unibody MBP w/ 4GB Ram, 500GB 7.2k HD
-20in Apple Cinema Display
-Twelve South BookArc
-Logitech MX Performance Mouse
-Logitech DiNovo Keyboard

Right Desk
-20" 2.16 Core2Duo White iMac w/ 3GB Ram, 250GB HD
-Logitech DiNovo Edge Keyboard
-Logitech MX 1100 Mouse
-Bose Companion 5 Speakers
-3 G-Tech External Hard Drives (320GB, 500GB, and 750TB)

The computer on the left is my primary home computer (I have a Mac Pro at work) and the iMac on the right is mostly for steaming and downloading.

Moved my desk tonight so I could see the sexy backs of my Display and MBP. Also cleaned up and simplified my setup quite a bit since July.

What you see:

--24 inch ACD
--512 GB Time Capsule (RIGHT before they bumped the capacities, ouch)
--16 GB white iPhone 3G
--160 GB silver iPod Classic (2009)
--16 GB red iPod nano 5th gen
--16 GB orange iPod nano 5th gen
--Apple in ear headphones
--Apple remotes for my MBP and MBA

What you don't see:

--Rev B. base Macbook Air
--Various other iPods
--Bluetooth wireless keyboard

penningtonj what is the stripping you've used to conceal your wires on the wall?

Really nice cable management! :D

The stripping is from Home Depot, I'm not sure what brand but I have seen at several of their stores so I'm sure it or something similar is at all of them. To be honest I think it is pretty ugly (any stripping that is) however that wall is an exterior second story wall where the bottom half goes into the attic and the top just to the outside so there is a horizontal beam (several actually) where the roof over the attic is and getting it through that would have been rather difficult. I used a small strip for the ACD too, but that was just because I was being lazy and wanted to avoid more holes.

Exactly. All her new singles are utter ****. And all we have to look forward to is another BEST ~whatever universe~ compilation album.

Yeah, I have basically given up altogether with her. Sorta stopped keeping up with J-Pop in general. I was really into the newer group BRIGHT... but their first album was a little bit of a let down. :/ Their debut mini-album was EXCELLENT though! You should check them out if you haven't already. Very talented girls.

Now I am back to listening to the three American groups I like, and various movie scores. haha. ><

pennintonj, I love your set up. The ACD on the wall looks amazing.

puma1552, that's a really clean looking setup. Nice.

I am hoping to replace that later this month with a 24" LED Cinema Display actually, I am hoping the black will look as good. I used to have the laptop on an mStand but switched to the BookArc to make more room on the desk. The disadvantage of the BookArc is that I can't use the speakers or iSight anymore, so the new cinema display would solve that. I stream music over airtunes to a Bose 321 system on the other side of the room so the speakers don't need to be powerful as they are just for non music/movie sound. I considered the Logitech Vision Pro (I have one at work) but it is pretty ugly so I think the cinema display is the way to go. I'm sure I will find a use for the 20" and the cost isn't that bad considering the webcam, speakers, built-in hub, macbook pro charger and good quality monitor.

Do you like your current 20 inch ACD? I know a store that has an open box for $300, but I am not sure if it is a worthwhile purchase considering how many new (and larger) monitors can be had for the same price or less.
