I'm just wondering how anyone who mounts speakers, moniters, or anything on the wall takes care of wires, or for that matter even keeps them under control on your desk? I'm setting up my new desk soon and I'm just looking for a few ideas thanks :)

Don't get a glass desk. It's a pain to hide wires with a glass desk.

What lamps are those and where can you find them? nice set up btw ;)
This is my desktop during my PC era. I just did the entire room and added the LCD TV on the wall. You can see the PS3 and the big tower pc at the bottom.

This is my desktop during my MAC era. Its slightly redone and much neater and simplistic. Completely redone the speakers department. Bought an Aego M speakers with USB DAC (GoVibe) attached to the Mac Mini for sound output. I still need to work out on my wirings a little bit.

May I ask why there is a 12" PowerBook G4 box on the 2nd picture?

I still have the box for mine =] looks much better than apple's new packaging IMO.

Agreed! Apple's newer packaging might be more environmentally friendly, but man, opening an Apple product in the early to mid 2000's was really something special. The packaging design was second to none.

The stripping is from Home Depot, I'm not sure what brand but I have seen at several of their stores so I'm sure it or something similar is at all of them. To be honest I think it is pretty ugly (any stripping that is) however that wall is an exterior second story wall where the bottom half goes into the attic and the top just to the outside so there is a horizontal beam (several actually) where the roof over the attic is and getting it through that would have been rather difficult. I used a small strip for the ACD too, but that was just because I was being lazy and wanted to avoid more holes.

Paint the wire stripping with the same paint that's on the wall, it won't go away but it will be less visible.

Yet your setup is still at least 4 years old, why? Don't tell me you collect empty mac boxes?

why delete my posts?
Could be several reasons, if you posted it in more than one setup thread then your post will be deleted, but you should ask a mod via private message instead of posting the question in the forum.

Maybe I do,Does it matter?;)I like my setup though.I can't afford anything newer though.Would you rather me be using a Windows system?I can afford that but not a brand new MacBook Pro.I use what I can afford.
