Here's my newest set up,I got a new desk and a 15in Apple Studio Display.Oh and $25 SkullCandy earphones.I also now have 2 external hard drives, equaling 750GB.One USB and one FW.

I like your G4 setup, with the matching components.

Oh, I hope to improve my setup with a high end 13in MBP in the next month.I'm a high school grad in 2 weeks.:)

How are you graduating in 2 weeks?! Do you go to a track school?

In keeping with the 'Past and Present' nature of the thread, I've included a picture of my setup as it was two years ago.
I don't have any of it anymore except the camera, iMac G4, and the Palm in the picture.

This is the same iMac in the first pic, the 15". It's now on our dining table as a secondary Mac.

Here is my PC, a Toshiba laptop running XP.

Cool set up, but I don't understand what you mean. Is this your dream set up, or are you saying the unannounced MBP will make this your dream set up?

That's a Newton! It's NOT a palm.
I remember having that Quicktake 200 when it came out!

Oh god, I remember those, I had one...they were sooo dim, lol.

Same here. True story.

Thanks,I thought the original display was complimenting it as well.I go to a charter school and I didn't have much left for my senior year so I know I'm graduating at the end of the first semester and thats in 2 weeks for me.

Wow, I forgot the Newton was in the pic, but no, I meant the blue Palm behind the iBook, I forgot there were two. I would like a newton again, though.

Ah, I see. I'm in public school, so I'll be waiting till this June at least.

Hello all! Long time viewer first time poster!
I just want to say thank you to everyone for uploading their gorgeous setups, its given me a lot of inspiration to set up my own little work space.

Here's my setup so far.
I actually use a 22" HDTV as an external monitor which resides a little more left of the photo, but I didn't want it ruining the beauty of the MacBook.

Perhaps i'll upload a photo of my full setup later on today.

Looks very nice! What desk is that? It seems like theres a carbon fiber weave on the top or something similar...

Thanks

Here's the desk I use - http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/6171328/c_1/1%7Ccategory_root%7CHome+and+furniture%7C14417894/c_2/3%7C15701155%7COffice+furniture%7C14418165/c_3/4%7Ccat_14418165%7CWorkstations%7C14418170.htm
Its actually two of them hacked together, one side just has the Macbook (as you can see) and the other side has the keyboard tray and the external monitor

I'm glad you like it! :)

That is an elegant desktop! I always dreamt of having such a simple desktop arrangement. The light really adds warmth to the set up!
