Found a 2008 octad at the right price, which left me with enough for these babies :D Now All I need is the Mac Pro to drive them, hopefully that many lumens doesn't sear the skin

Sorry for the crappy pic, DSLR is gone and the only camera in a 500 ft radius is the MacBook Pro iSight.

The power...The Power!!! Mwuahahaha!

 Wow... Wow...

I want...

Sorry for the miserable pictures, but I can't seem to find my camera:

Besides my MacPro (see sig), those speakers are M-Audio AV-40's (which just broke today, unfortunately) and the monitors are Acer x233H's--not great monitors, but they were dirt cheap. I've also a WD 500GB external and my 8GB Touch in the pictures somewhere.

I like the workspace, but I need to work on my cable arrangement under my desk.

Sorry to be a pain... but what it the date application that puts the date on the top left of the desktop?? Have been after this for a while - thanks!!

On the fence
Here's my current setup,I moved my MB over because I like it in front of me,and I like having an external the right of it,I have my keyboard and mouse for my MB on top,and my keyboard and mouse for the G4 in the little keyboard tray as I use them less,I need a more open air compartment for my G4 because it does get hot in the little cubby.

I still love the look of the quicksilver, pity there isn't an easy way to stuff some sort of Intel guts inside one and make a fast machine out of it. I may still pick one up and upgrade it a bit just to play around on, as they are fairly cheap

Well, I just got everything setup for the new work area/desk. The desk is the IKEA 63" Galant in Black/Brown with Silver T Legs. I am the proud owner of two 27" iMacs. One is the Core i5 and other is the Core i7. I will mainly be using the Core i7 for 1080p video encoding an the Core i5 will be day to day and photos. I have 16GB of RAM on the way for the Core i7 and the Core i5 will be at 8GB soon enough. Both have the crummy Seagate 1TB...both are quiet for now though.

I want to cry... I was feeling so good after just setting up my 21.5" iMac. And I only have one! ;)

My room is a mess right now but I can't wait to get my "battle station" all set up. :)
