Have to say mate, looks a great setup. Just the kind im saving for
May sound odd lol, but what do you use the macbook for when your not using the bigger LCD screen? Just when your at college? and do you mind the 13 inch screen when you're out and about?

It would depend on what you're using the computer for. I have a similar set up with a similar sized external monitor (22") and it's definately far easier to do graphic work on the external monitor, however right now I'm simply browsing the web and don't have the monitor plugged in, I'm just using the 13" screen. It is still possible to do graphic work on the 13inch screen as I do it at college every week but the bigger screen space is definately more desirable.

Well here's my latest update to my setup, I bought a Quicksilver G4 with some left over B-day money :D, the Quicksilver is also hacked & running Leopard.

Please excuse my untidiness under the table where the eMac sits, my parents are in the process of moving house so I'm sorting out things in my room.

PS make sure you full large its much better quality

Very nice,it's like everything I've had Mac wise over the last year, except the MBP,but that will change by August. :p

Sorry for the crappy quality...

*snip*

love, love, LOVE your setup. (first off, sorry for all the questions) what kind of music production do you do? is there a reason you have the midi controller AND a keyboard? do you use the near-field reference monitors for all your computer browsing (iTunes, YouTube, etc.) and are they on all the time? where's your 13" uMBP in this picture? i also see your dSLR...how is that monitor for color accuracy...i'm assuming it's a Dell of some sort.

:D

It always amazes me when I see people with all this Apple stuff, but no iPod.

Do people just not post it, or really just don't have one?

Maybe there are really people that don't have and don't need a portable music player!

Like myself. I never had and I'll never buy an iPod. Well I've got an iPhone, but I don't consider it as an iPod since I don't have a single song on that thing.

Hi, I like the 13-inch because it's more portable than de 15-inch one, and use it in college run MatLab, programing and PDF view. At home I prefer the 19" monitor for movies and for edit photos on PhotoShop, but I prefer to use monitor + macbook screen because with this configuration I can use Adium and iTunes and Safari on the small one and use the big one at the same time to do other things.:D

I don't believe it!

As for the people who leave it in the car.. I guess that makes sense.. I usually put at least one album in my library or make a change to a playlist every night, so I always bring mine inside. Guess I thought everyone was a weirdo like me.
