Desktop is slightly more clean than the home setup, but only because it's Monday....:p

Well here's my latest setup picture its almost complete :D

Nice setup! It's not easy to set everything up when you don't have a wall behind your desk (at least for me! :D)
I'd would love to have a "old" mac as you (an iMac G4 or a eMac), but they're still quite pricy, so it's difficult for me to buy one of those :(

Reduce desktop clutter

The desktop can be a great place to drop stuff, but because of the way OSXhandles desktop icons, putting stuff there can also slow your system down. The operating system treats each desktop icon just like a full-size Finder window—the icon takes up a chunk of memory, and the system has to track its position and size at all times. Drop enough files and folders on your desktop, and you may start to notice side effects (such as spinning beach balls) when you’re trying to do something as simple as open a new Finder window. Here’s one simple way to cut down on the clutter (and system drag) without losing that handy storage place: create a folder or two on your desktop (call them Need To Look At and Things To Do, for example), and then move all the items from your desktop into the new folders.

On today's Macs, doubt it is even an issue anymore.

I suppose that's possible, I've never heard anything to the contrary though. Since I can't stand a computer Desktop full of clutter (real life is harder) I only keep a few things on the Desktop and usually only for short periods of time.

eMac's aint that pricy I only paid £90 for my 2005 1.42Ghz Model, off ebay which came with free delivery I though that was reasonable if I'm honest it runs Leopard quite well

not bad, I'll start looking for it! I've seen some cool tutorials on the internet on how to replace the original CRT with a LCD!

My table in bedroom :D
