Some of the images are quite dark or too bright, the lighting in my room was terrible and my iPhone's auto adjust wasn't liking it one bit!

Well I deleted my Facebook, and although my MB does get pretty steamed up when using Photoshop and Illustrator I trust 4GB could handle a little Adium window in the bottom left corner ;) And if I were to use the G4 then I would have to use the 13inch screen on the Macbook rather than the 22inch which makes it much more difficult to do graphics work...

Looking back, I see our setups are very similar. Your monitor is a similar size to the Laptop screen though, so the difference for you would be little :) I have a couple of old keyboards just like those too :D it's uncanny!

my monitor is a 17"er,but I don't like it much because it's a lower res. than my MB so I have to shrink everything and it's a LCD so it has to warmup compared to the LED on my MB.I plan on getting a 24" Monitor this year though, probably a HP.Though my PM is great and is the best system in my house besides my MB.My mom's 2.93Ghz P4 HP is running slower than my PM at the moment and is just having major performance issues. To the point where my mom wants my PM. lol I'm tempted to get her a PM and trade her for the HP and over clock it,tripple the ram,and put a single DVD/CD burner in it and a decent graphics card and them Hackintoshing it. (Yes I did just say hackintosh.)

Got that sony :)
i7 720QM
6gb ram
500gb HD
bluray
1920x1080 16" screen
:D

It does run OS X but I'd need to switch the wifi card if I wanted that. Hehe, funny hint for those who want to desticker their laptop, if your nails aren't doing it, try sliding a piece of paper against the edge of the sticker and it'll get under it. :)

I understand it's not as aesthetically pleasing, but it sure is comfy. The fan keeps it from getting warm and the funky palmrest is a lot easier on the wrists than the flat ones with sharp edges apple likes to use.

Not sure why the screen showed so washed out. Oh well :)

A trick from the auto detailers in getting stickers off, work dental floss back and forth under the sticker.

Since I have a laptop and live in a small apartment with wife and two kids without a dedicated workspace, I sit where there is room for the day

In front of the TV. Yes, it´s a mess and the kids run in and out in the summer.

In the kitchen studying

At my wives grandparents in Stockholm

In Motala, where I annually participate in the bicycle race Halvvättern where I race 150 km in about 8 hours. Every year without having trained a meter before the race ...:p

Wife's iPhone after close contact with the tarmac when she got out from the car. Still works without problems with the same screen ...
