thank you, you're a good observer :p

Anyway, I've found it in a local store and it was an incredible deal: I've paid 50€ for it, while the suggested retail price is 90€!

Wow that is a pretty good price/discount! Are they still available there? I live in Croatia so I might be able to get one if they're still available. Does the store you bought it in have a website?

Thanks!

More crappy iPhone pictures, I need to take pictures during the day, not at night.

Before with old $30 Walmart desk:

New desk and chair with crappy LG Monitor that went back the next day:

Today, just got the cinema display (I usually put my iPhone in the dock but I used it to take the pictures):

Lucky Mr G4! Hope he still gets used!

Never heard of said Aegos, how area they?

I read lots of reviews and they seem very capable and beat the logitechs. (plus they are simple - no controller etc - just sub and two satellites). About £120 over here so they are on my shopping list.

hey guys... fixed the images....

don't be too impressed lol... its a basic setup for a DJ.... I personally don't dj in public 'yet'... this is actually my first DJ setup ever... took me a couple weeks to put it together.... but if anything its a basic... well not basic but an industry standard type of DJ setup....

Funny thing is... because I bought my MBP it pushed me to kinda delve into dj'ing... I have a little experience but to be able to use my MBP for something like this was a dream come true.... just another task my MBP can handle with ease!

I need a desk so I can have "My Setup" back, since we moved into our new apartment in April I've been using the MBP wherever I can which is usually on the bar of on my lap, I just prefer sitting a desk.

However, yesterday I made a pretty gnalry set up with some boxes and my time machine since I hadn't backed it up since the first of April. :-( Was also doing a bit of writing and recording of some guitar riffs and song ideas for my band.

Can I ask how you use the computer? Do you lie down or sit cross-legged?

I sit cross-legged. As uncomfortable as it is, it's the best position I can be in when I'm on the floor. Sometimes, I'll lean against the couch and pull the mouse near me so I can just scroll through pages.

That's how I use my MacBook when I'm sitting on the bed. Having my legs stretched out and the computer on my calves can get painful, so I prefer to sit crossed legged when I'm using my computer away from a desk or table.

Sitting in the couch is best if I'm not at a desk, but I didn't feel like bending over to do my writing/recording. Kills my back and legs, but oh well.

You need to invest in a laptop stand! :) Like myself. I don't really have a permanent place either, I like to move about the house.

I gave thought to that but a desk is more suited for me. I like to have my externals set up with my mouse and mouse pad, etc.

I moved my Mac over to the left a little bit so I don't keep banging my knee on the cabinet under my desk.

Tried to paint my hutch over my desk but f***ed up with the spray paint and sanded it down and re painted it but that just made it worse.
