I'll never drop the dough on a gamer-grade mousepad, but I think gaming mice are well worth the price. Apple mice, on the other hand, I just can't stand. The whole one-integrated-button thing really pisses me off. You have to lift your primary-click finger in order to secondary-click. And the shape of them is not ergonomic at all. I think Apple expects you to hold it with just the tips of your thumb and ring finger. Kind of like an iPhone 4.

Hm, I hold my magic mouse sort of like this. The bed of my thumb on the left side and sort of the side/tip of my ring finger on the right side. But I never have to lift fingers. I keep my index and middle finger on the mouse at all times. When I want to scroll up and down, I just move one of the fingers up and down and don't have to move or lift my other finger.

The only time I have to lift at all is when I do a three finger swipe, but I don't even have that programmed anymore since I got my new Mini.

EDIT: Okay, I lied. In order to right click, I do have to lift my index finger. I just tried it, haha. I guess I lift it without thinking about it.

Well compared to everyone else my setup is not really impressive. This is my first Mac, it just showed up Monday morning. So far I love it so I thought might as well post it. This is a work in progress, I will shop for a stand for the laptop and will probably setup a switch so I can go down to only one mouse and use my Logitech keyboard. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

P.S. If you are wondering why I took the picture with the light off it's because my setup is like an ugly girl ........ looks better with the light off. But if someone wants a pic with the light on just let me know.

As promised here's mine, although not the best aesthetically speaking it does work for me!

Here's mine, besides the Macs in my sig it includes:

- old 19" Samsung as a second monitor for the iMac
- old Creative 2.1 speakers
- Sans Digital TowerStor TS2CT enclosure with two 1 TB Samsung Spinpoint F3s in RAID 1 (connected via FW800)
- 500 GB Iomega USB 2.0 external
- Canon HF S100

And the desk is an Ikea Galant, 78"x23" (47"x23" connected with a 31"x23")

Yes I know it's in front of a closet... I don't open it very much :D

Sort of like a evolution of my setup, but I'm almost too embarrassed to post up my "current" setup.

Just moved into my apartment at college! Setup has changed quite a bit but i'm loving it up here so far. Going to get an iMac G4 for home eventually. Please excuse the photo quality, i took it with my iPhone.
