I updated the wife's desk. I figured that the 15" MacBook Pro had to go due to the fact she's only using it nowadays at her desk. So a Mac Mini would be sufficient enough for her.

Mac Mini 2.66Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo
5GB RAM (1 x 1GB stock and 1x 4GB OWC)
Nvidia Geforce 320M
80GB Intel X-25M SSD

It's perfect. Connected to our trusty old 23" Cinema Display and the B&W MM1's.

That, Sir, looks absolutely gorgeous! The only thing I'd do is putting the Mini under or in the desk. It looks a little misplaced there.

Macbook Pro 2.2 17" early 2011
Samsung 27" Monitor 2770FH
Ipod touch 3rd gen
Iphone 4
Ipad 3g/Wifi 64 (GB)(sold pending Ipad 2)
Apple BT keyboard
Apple BT magic pad
HP 6310x OfficeJet printer
Verizon Fios 25 MBps up / 25 MBps down (love this service)

What is that under the macbook?

Thx! We have thought about that. But there's just not enough room for it. The back of the desk has it's own drawers etc. It's a double desk used as one. So no holes can be made.

Good eyes. That is a Logitech Portable Lapdesk N315. I use it for two things. One it keeps the newer MacBook pro's a few degrees cooler and second I take it with me when I take my laptop with me to a coffee shop. I hate putting my bare laptop on one of those of tables since they always appear to be sticky, wet, or etc........ It fits in my laptop bag without issue since it is only about a 1/2 inch thick. It doesn't have fans but the material itself helps disperse heat very nicely.

As far as I know, you're the first person to post here with a 2011 MBP.

I have no idea why I pointed that out.

So, um, congrats?

I saw one in the wild for the first time today. I asked him how he liked it, and he complained he couldn't minimize the browser (obviously not understanding that the browser is the OS) and he couldn't load photos on it (not realizing it's called "cloud-based" for a reason). But otherwise, he said, "It's great for doing stuff on the Innernet."

Yeah, I'm still bitter I didn't get one

Never posted my setup in here before so here it goes. Sorry for the crappy quality, taken on a iphone 4. The desk is just temporary until I buy a new one in the next month or so.

Not really true on duffer6 being the first to post his/her 2011 MBP in this thread. As far as I know, you missed the post by Commonmind who posted earlier. ;)

Quick rundown of what's here:

iMac is a 27" i5 (w/4850)
MacBook Pro is the latest revision (2011; i7/8GB/6750)

....

Thanks. Upgraded from a 2010 15" MBP. I am just amazed how fast the 2011 MBP are compared to last year and I loved my 2010 model.

What kind of outlets are those?

They are basically just 5-15 socket merged with a Type C. Aren't standard here though, 5-15's are the most common over here. Though they created a new standard last year and it's already being used widely.

Have not finished it yet. The 27" iMac is still yet to be wall mounted and cables run inside the wall. On the other side, a 27" LED Viewsonic has been ordered and will be wall mounted, a HengeDock has also been ordered.

A optical cable + HDMI cable run from the iMac to the A/V Receiver and 42" LG Plasma for a full 5.1 surround sound.
