Have not finished it yet. The 27" iMac is still yet to be wall mounted and cables run inside the wall. On the other side, a 27" LED Viewsonic has been ordered and will be wall mounted, a HengeDock has also been ordered.

A optical cable + HDMI cable run from the iMac to the A/V Receiver and 42" LG Plasma for a full 5.1 surround sound.

Wow! Really great job with cable management.

Not really true on duffer6 being the first to post his/her 2011 MBP in this thread. As far as I know, you missed the post by Commonmind who posted earlier. ;)

...nuts.

Why another TV? Won't it seem just a little over-the-top with three screens on the wall?

I know. My nerd ego was nearly shattered... ;)

I figured since I posted my present setup I'd go ahead and post my past one as well.

The MacBook Pro in the first image is coupled with a 24" ACD, an Intuos3 Anniversary Edition and a flimsy glass desk that cost a lot more than it was worth; I would've been more comfortable had I decided to work in a furnace. This is the MacBook Pro that the 2011 model replaced, the same one my wife is now using to prove she is much smarter than I am by acing her nuclear medicine exam right next to me.

The other shot is my PC setup, which is cheating, I know, but nearly the entirety of its life it was running a Hackintosh build the majority of the time it was powered on. The monitor is a 30" Dell 3007WFP-HC, keyboard and mouse is the G15/G9x combo. The PC, if anyone is interested, was an old C2D with SLI'd 8800GT's in a Coolermaster Wavemaster (Yellow) Case -- which served me well and was my last foray as a PC hardware junkie, before completely giving up on the platform for everything but the occasional game.

Some great setups above!

Still have some cleaning to do, just installed an SSD drive in my MacBook and reloaded Snow Leopard on it from scratch. Transferred my iTunes library to a new external drive (2TB Verbatim sitting next to the MacBook) and have been finishing the setup of stuff like Time Machine. The lower area in the photos is a bit of a mess right now because of the black router on the left which I got from the government broadband study (in the USA), I just hooked it up temporarily until they're done spying on me.

Simply love your setup, both of them! I might finally go pick up an mStand after all. Do you still have that green chair? It compliments the desk quite nicely. Oh, congrats on the new MBP! :)

Wow, that setup is amazing!

The equipment is very nice, but am I alone in thinking that it looks really, really, really bland?

The "I love my Dad" frame is quite cringe-worthy too!

I'd have more space for those external HDDs...

Thank you!
I love the m-stand. Really makes a difference in terms of usability.
Yes, still have the chair as well.

Here is my setup from about 2 years ago before the mStand, new desk, and new peripherals.

Haven't posted on here in a while. This is my current set-up. I'm still looking for a monitor for my other G5.

I know I am quoting a picture, but please could you tell me what type of lens is used to take this shot? Wide angle or a fisheye? I want one for my Canon DSLR.

master00 -

How is the performance/reliability of the Cisco E4200? I'm considering the unit but have been getting mixed reviews.

Pretty obviously a fisheye...

@master00

What's that spare HDD doing on the desk? It is actually on some form of docking station being used as an external drive? Something as quick and simple like that would be ideal for me

Also interested to hear opinions on the router it's lovely looking
