Chaps!!! Moving house meaning bye bye custom built/fitted desk I have!

I want the above - obviously this is from Istanbul in Turkey and not available here in the UK :(

Does anyone have something VERY Similar to the above or has anyone seen anything similar about? I've scanned through ikea best I can! Really want something like this! Preferably with matching cabinets too like above!

Thanks in advance!

Parents.

My friend who just turned 16 got a 2012 Ford Edge (fairly loaded, I would say).
He can't even drive (still has a restricted permit, no "real" license), but go figure.
Not saying it's a good or bad thing, but just answering your question.

You are so diabolically wrong. It's interesting to find out how he could afford that, but let's face it, 13 year olds aren't going to be going out all the time with their friends, spending money they earned etc, they have no overheads -- so it all goes on toys.

When I was 14, I had an 8-Core Mac Pro, x2 30" monitors, ipod touch, bower & wilkins 350s etc, because I worked (if your interested how search my username.) I've since moved to a much more modest 27" iMac, awaiting my 27" display :)

That's not to say that a lot of kids do get lovely toys, just keep in mind it's not always the case, and until you know, don't assume?

Yeah, I really want that desk, it's pretty damn sleek and sexy. One that's even remotely similar I'd buy in an instance. Never seen anything with that finish in the shops unfortunately.

I'm 13 BTW

I don't get this whole include your age thing it's really getting obnoxious. I think i'm going to have my mom and dad come on here and post there set ups and then tell them to add "BTW i'm 52" just to diversify things a bit.

Also, why did everybody thumb this guy down???

I do realize that some 14 year olds actually work for their stuff, as you did. I'm just saying that most don't.

FAIL! Did that already! https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1184870/

I look forward to all the creative setups, not so much the babbling about how much they cost or how they were afforded. I do like hearing what's behind the setup, as in why the setup is the way it is etc. Let's get this thread back on track people. Chop! Chop!

Its not a fail, the best way to get a picture thread back on track is to post a picture. While i'm not all for it, there are people here who post the same setup again and again and again.

However, I do agree. I wish people would quit providing their autobiography and just post pics. If someone has a question about the pic that's ok. But if no one asked how old you are, how you afforded it, how much it cost etc. THEN DON'T PROVIDE IT!!!! If you want people to know your age add it to your profile then those who are interested can click your name and then they'll know!!!

I just bought this. It is a bit of a fixer-upper as they say, but I needed more Mac storage!

I am 11 years old, btw.

Land of eternal Spring
Old setup but pretty much still the same

I think this is after a couple of days with the new desk last year, i used to have two plywood sheets like 18" wide and between 5 and 6 feet long propped on top of two night tables before XD, currently just the Air sits on top of the desk.
