Took this picture with my iPad2, so sorry for the messy desk and crappy quality, but this is how I live (no need for a clean desk).

Just wondering where you got those small-cubeish desktop speakers from? I've been looking for a small pair like those for casual listening as opposed to using my studio monitors....and also, how much were they?
They're a pair of Divoom USB powered speakers I bought from JB hi-fi for $20, they were actually supposed to be $15  but oh well. Obviously they're nothing special but they're pretty handy things just to have around.

I'm going to call this a "past" post even though it was taken tonight. I honestly plan to clean everything up and setup the new Grono lights I just got off ebay in the next few days. I'll post some new pics once that is done.

Anyway, what you see here going from left to right:

PowerMac G4 Quicksilver Dual 1.0 Ghz
Only recently acquired this, but plan to use it both as a file server (once I get the SATA card) and as an extra screen for amateur weather forecasting once winter arrives. Sweet machine that was going to be thrown out at work that I rescued!

2009 era Core i5 PC gaming rig reconfigured as a Hackintosh running Snow Leopard. This is currently acting as my home server with 8 TB of external storage connected and redundant thanks to Carbon Copy Cloner. It's running Sabnzbd/Sickbeard and serving my audio and video collection (via iTunes and SMB) to the other computers, Apple TV, 2 iPads, and 4 iPhones. It's also the Aperture and Final Cut workhorse as well as Vuze for torrents when needed.

Late 2006 Core 2 Duo iMac running Lion. This sweet rig was my first Mac and I'm still in love with it as much as the day it arrived new in it's box, and it's still as fast with only 2 GB of RAM. It's my main machine for day to day use and iMovie work. Love love love it.

AMD Athlon box circa 2003 running Linux Mint. I just recently set up this dual screen rig to have some extra screen real estate for the winter hobbies (winter storm forecasting among other things). I'll probably keep her turned off to save electricity more often than not.

Not pictured: Just to the left is my wife's 2008 iMac running Lion and serving live analog cable TV via EyeTV Hybrid to all the devices. Just to the left of that is an older Teac receiver with an Airport Express connected that is driving two outdoor speakers for AirPlay. We both each have iPad 2's and iPhone 4's. The toddler's have an original iPhone and a 3G. A single jailbroken Apple TV is located upstairs in the living room (along side a PS2 and hacked original XBOX) but we plan to add additional ATV2 boxes to the kitchen, bedroom, and downstairs den in the next year. There is an XBOX 360 and Wii in the den as well. A D-Link DIR-655 router is handling the main wired and wireless duties downstairs while a 1 TB Time Capsule (wired to upstairs) is handling the upstairs wireless and Mac backup duties.

Hope to clean up and take better pictures soon. Some of the setups in this thread are ridiculous, I'm incredibly jealous both of the disposable income and the sense of style. Kudos!

Long live the Apple Ecosystem!

Edit: Gah, didn't mean to break the thread with too much wide screen, sorry.

Everyone posts such nice photo's here, my crappy previous ones just do not fit in. Alas, here are some new, less crappy ones.

Here are some new pics of my office:

The brown chair is temporary because it was borrowed from the living room, but I wanted some extra seating while I think about what I want back there:

This shot captures some of the electronics on the desk a bit better (DacMagic/Heed Canamp)

This one is from the front to show the NHT SB2 Speakers. I have a thunderbolt cable for the MBP, so I can use the 27 inch iMac as a second display, but I don't believe I will use it that way very often.

It may seem a bit cluttered, but that is the price for having books, magazines, hard drives, electronics shoved into a small space. The ASUS 25.5 inch monitor is on an ergotron mount so I can swing it out of the way when I need to open the closet (which is where I keep a Spirit folding treadmill)

Swans M10, I believe there are some reviews on this forum of these speakers. I like them a lot though, great looks and good sound quality for the money.
