here's my setup at work... when i still had my 15" macbook pro :p

I agree with you but IMO: Get an Airport extreme, they will really finnish the apple look. The black whatever does not fit in to an otherwise great setup. If you are really into spending money, get a bluetooth usb adapter and get the apple wireless keyboard and the magic mouse. Just my 2 cents :)

Just my Setup as of today. 2009 27" IMAC, Mid 2011 13' macbook Air and second monitor hooked up to the iMac. Sony sound bar in on the wall and couple of external drives. I gets the job done.

finally got the time to rearrange everything.
the MP used to be under the desk, but it gets hot and the desk traps the heat.
and it does get quite hot here (hongkong).
i think now it works better.

Hey nice setup there, may I ask you where did you get that headphones stand I spot there on the shelf? Is that a specific brand/model?

it's a DAC, PS audio DLIII.
it connects the mac pro through optical to the adam's through XLR.

headphone holder by sennheiser.
i think you can get it on amazon.

I hear you. I've been of the fence for a while to replace my 2.2 sr MacBook with an ssd.

Pulled the trigger last night on a refurb iMac. I'm pretty pumped!!
