I do have a gaming rig I built myself - High spec. Haven't used it once since I got the Mac.
The thing I love about it is that although its lower spec ( like WAY lower )
It just works!
No crashes, No hardware failures, No reboots or rebuilds required...

IT JUST WORKS! lol:p

And I do all my gaming on console these days so MAC is definately the way for me now.

I'm leaning towards an iMac 24" hopefully on OS X Lion.
It'll be more than enough for what I need it for.

And a MacBook for when I'm out n about or need something portable.

Anyway.....

Some lovely setups guys n gals!
I hope mine is up to scratch, Deskspace and gadget wize, If a little outdated lol.

Does anyone know which cabinet this is? I bet it's from Ikea. If anyone can help me find the link to those cabinets I would really appreciate it. I was on Ikea's site and could not find them. Looks like the cabinets are probably sold individually and you can purchase the frosted glass separately. Also, looks like you can mount the cabinets horizontally or diagonally. I may be wrong. :apple:

Finally decided to post my dorm room setup.
3Er8B.jpg

Here's what you're looking at (from L to R):
1TB Seagate External
500GB WD MyBook
320GB WD Passport
Bose Companion II speakers
21.5" Asus 1080p Monitor
iPhone 4 dock
Xbox 360
13" MBP (specs in sig)
Wireless BT keyboard
Magic Trackpad

And just a note, I know the cable management is terrible but the desk is far too shallow for me to be able to do much about it.

Where do you go to school? The desks at my school (GMU) look exactly like that, except ours have a cutout in the keyboard drawer to accommodate wrists.

I go to school in South East Mass. Sadly the keyboard drawer isn't a drawer at all.

I'll post a pic, all cables are either linked to the frame of the table or hidden in the cable box.

Furnishings mostly by Ikea.

I use a 22 year old Northgate Omnikey keyboard on my 27" iMac. Not quite visible on the shelves on the left are my Mac mini server and Airport Extreme.

I think that's pretty much the standard dorm desk. They have the same ones at my university as well.
