BTW, the power cable is ALREADY plugged in! (So I guess I did a good job: you couldnt even see the cable ehehhe)
Yeah right :D
Before to watch this movie I was like simple user of PC, when Ive seen it, I become like mad about PC's, now I'm website designer... Thats fair enough about me... :D

Looks good but bring the stand back, it was a nice touch! And still not using the macbooks monitor to dual screen? Why not?

YES<I am using as dual monitor :)
It happens that the movie was playing in full screen, so the macbook's display became black :)

Agreed. Am I the only one who thinks the set up was much better before (minus all the cables)?

Ahahah! Really?
I didnt like because of the cables, mainly.

Now I will try to keep my books on the book shelf - it happens that I use them A LOT (like 3 or 4 of them per day).

Also, I dont like the stand (mStand copy, by me). The cables are like... hanging! Hate that!

----------

People, take a look at these pictures.
I made it by myself using acrylic only. (and the saw, pen, table... of course).

About some weeks ago I opened a thread asking for an alternative to mStand because I didnt want to spend 100 dollars (it costs 50 dollars in US and 100 dollars in Brazil) in a "piece of metal". So I did it.

Take a look:

My suggestion is to use some twist ties for cable management, and maybe some cable tie downs you would use for PC cable management inside a rig. That way you can use the stand still! Or drill a hole in the back of it, or something. Lol.

What desk is that and where did you get it?

I did it by myself!

----------

Must be handy having three arms.

PS- Remember to add a lip or something on the end of your stand so your laptop doesn't slide off.

PPS- Well done!

Eheheh! by 'myself' I didnt mean ONLY me. I meant that I didnt go to a store and bought the "mStand" already manufactured.
Also, there is a lip! Its transparent acrylic! :)

I love how the european keyboards have a an arrow, double arrow, and loopy arrow for shift, caps lock and enter. On my keyboard, it just says shift, caps lock, enter.

I've the opposite feeling: I'd really love to have text instead of symbols on my italian KB
