I love you goals emily. What's that for? Not to be nosey, it's just interesting. Might do the same myself, i like that idea

:)

Thanks! I put those up each month just to try to keep myself on track, creatively. I get busy with school sometimes so it's good to have a couple of things up there for inspiration if I get stuck.

Nice setups mine is a work in progress after having computers and such for years and going back to mac in my personal life. Using them when i was elementary school using an apple II in the 80's then in the 90's using windows machines. i made the switch in back in late 09 with my mini and been hammered on here about the mess of wires and general junk on my desk started with my macbook pro 13 2010 model to finally fix the mess. Everything to the left of the monitor is still a mess but is being worked on i made the shelf my macbook is sitting on today. Tomorrow and days after where my time capsule is i plan to build a shelf that the monitor will sit on and the time capsule will actually have it's wires slotted in from a opening to hid them along with the other wires to the left that are external hd's plus i plan to help route my wires throughout the desk by drilling some holes in the upright shelf you can see at the bottom at the left and right of it to help route wires.

iMacs use the same ram and hard drive. It will be slightly more work to change out the hard drive though but not much.

It will barely cost me anything to sell the mini and buy a new one.

It's also VERY easy to work on.

I am thinking about returning the base model mini and getting the server. The benchmark results are incredible for the mini server.

My very small and messy workstation... Still waiting for a house to rent.
I think everything what I have it's in my sig.
I can't imagine myself with 15" or 17" laptop after I purchased 13" MBP. I think best setup it's 13" laptop and the 27" Cinema Display. I am right? ;)

Why don't you put your personal computer away?

What he is referring to as a PC is a computer that runs Microsoft software, so don't come here trying to be all mr smartass about the word personal computer.
Also this is a mac forum, so he is referring to it for that particular reason. Also we have humor here.

That's very cool! I'm gonna start this at start of November (seeing as there's only a few days left of October) .... such a great idea :)

Nice setups.
I saw a best setup competition link somewhere, now I've lost it, could anyone recover it?
