I've STALKED the hell outta these setup threads for as long as I can remember and I have to say I am obsessed with looking at all the awesome setups some of you guys have on here.
I finally got an iMac today and my first desk since high school! Here's a couple of pics I just snapped with my iPhone, so pardon the crappy quality, but you get the idea. I know it's kinda plain and sterile but thats how everything else in my home is.

Do Magic Mouse works on transparent glass?It not worked for me
Nope! I just got my iMac and desk today and found this out. Neither of the mice work on the glass. I've been using my (covered) iPad as a mouse pad until I can find two mouse pads I like.

Having a glass desk and concealing all those white cords was a hell of challenge but I got it done.

Love the older MBPs! It'll be a bittersweet day when I upgrade to a 2012 MBP upon release-- bitter because I'll miss the older body style, and sweet because I'll have an Ivy Bridge i7 and 16 GB RAM
It's a 2.33 Core 2 Duo MBP with 2 gigs of ram, however, in desperate need of another gig. Unfortunately, it seems this model can only read 3 gigs and not 4.

Same here. It's classic apple as I see it--appeals to my taste a bit more than the new ones.

I hate when people say this. Cell phones take great pics these days rivaling most point and shoots. No need to apologize clear quality. Now if it was blurry and could only see half of the computer/set up, then you can apologize.
Just a random though, but does the glass work if you put like a black paper taped underneath it? If you wanted to keep a clean surface, maybe this would work? It seems like it would work. I just have a hard time seeing any mouse pads that i like and/or go with my setup.
