MobiusTech:

Sick AR-15! Specs? Also love the tv setup you have there.

It's a Rock River Arms Entry Tactical with an EO-Tech Hologram. I am gonna transfer the optic to my shotgun though and replace it with an ACOG RCO instead.

the shotgun as well. looks like a remington 870?

It's A Benelli Super Nova Tactical

It's a benelli Nova.

MobiusTech...you do anything related to guns for a living? Nice set up. :D

Nice, I'm looking to pick an AR up this summer sometime.

In the marines? What's your MOS? I'm currently in Army ROTC at my university.

Here is my setup. Specs are the ones in my signature. I bought the floating shelf from Ikea and fitted three low voltage lights and a dimmer switch into it. It was tricky, but an interesting project! The desk is also Ikea, in matching black/brown.

Can you tell us how you installed the dimmer switch?

Also...I'm assuming the thing in the middle is to cover up the cord for the lights?

thanks

The final Desk Update

So I sorta de-cluttered my desk, moving my iPhone, iPad & MacBook Pro into the shelves to try and give a less cluttered experience. I also decided to move my Nikon onto the Desk, love this thing (Photography is my life) & works rather well as a display piece me thinks. :D

I am thinking about replacing my 17'' Studio LCD (what is working exceptionally well, no ghosting or anything of the sort) with a LG 27'' LED 3D Monitor, but we shall see :) would look awesome I reckon

So I reckon thats it for now, least for a while. Rather happy with the final result :D

Loving my Anglepoise desk lamp, defo worth the money really high quality grade parts and perfectly balanced :)

I am in the process of deciding upon replacing my 17'' Studio LCD (what is working exceptionally well, no ghosting or anything of the sort) with a LG 27'' LED 3D Monitor, we shall see. I do have a 22'' Samsung 226BW what my parents use with their mac mini, but it has several nasty scratches across the display when my iSight Camera fell off the top. Bad Times :( This lil 17'' is pretty much pristine with no dead pixels.

thanks, yeah I rather like the Display (perhaps a tad small for today, but meh) matches my sorta retro space aged I have going on in my room quite nicely with the transparent plastic and whatnot :)

its a Nikon D90 :) (although I wish it was a Nikon D2Xs :D) xD I got the optional Nikon battery grip just to get me more charge whilst out and about :) can hold two Nikon rechargeable batteries and If I can remember it can also work off typical AA batteries too although I can imagine it wouldn't last very long LOL.

Who's setup is this?

I couldn't find it in the thread...I was wondering what desks these are and cabiniets. Really digging it!

Almost all moved into my new apartment (except I'm still lacking a couch). I don't know why these rooms are designed this way but the wall of the "dining room" area is a huge mirror. I really don't want to see myself at all so I stuck my computer desk there as it seemed like the most out of the way spot.

Photo 1: 2.5Ghz i5 Mac mini (mid 2011) with AMD radeon graphics card. ASUS VS229 21.5" display. M-Audio AV40 speakers. Pioneer Blu-Ray burner. Wired apple keyboard (I love my 10 key) and trackpad.
That is not a working PowerMac G5 down to the side of the desk, just an empty chassis I bought with the intention of building a gaming PC inside eventually. Still hasn't happened.

Photo 2 (1765): My temporary placement of my Airport Express and Mercury Elite AL Pro Qx2 along with my 13" MacBook Pro.

Photo 3: 37" LG LCD TV for my new Apple TV and Xbox. Still not sure where I want the printer. I may end up getting another small shelf set up like this for the printer, Airport Ex, and the Mercury Elite.

Not pictured is my iPad (3rd Gen) and iPhone 4s.

the mirror is used to give the illusion of a larger room. good idea on the G5 chassis I thought about the same idea but never followed through.
