Tripod is a small desktop tripod made by creative for the creative vado HD. It is a ball head and adjustable. Comes with case and less than $20. Very sturdy and great for youtube unboxings.

oh and hey peabody how did you get that cinema display to work like you did

Got a mini dvi to dvi to hook up to the adc to dvi adapter. The adapter goes for about $100 on ebay but you can find some deals here and there - I got mine for $70. Cinema display is resting on an electric guitar stand haha which makes it much more sturdy.

How did you connect a Cinema Display with a Mini DisplayPort to a PC? I didn't know they had adapters for that.

I ran a 20" acrylic ACD out of my Mac Mini for a couple years out of the mini display port using an ADC-DVI adapter and then a DVI-MDP adapter. It worked like a charm, though it was kinda clunky.

After tidying up.

Under the desk there is also a 1tb Time Capsule hooked up to 2x2tb and a 500gb hard drive via USB hub and a network switch with a 1tb NAS hooked up to that.

Wow  your setup is impeccable!!I love it! I also like the wall paper. It's cute! I love how you have very clean wire management system. How do you keep it like that? Is it at the back of the iMac?

What app is that on your iPad?

Well thank you for your comments :D

The wall paper is from Laura Ashley and the pattern is called Tatton in Charcoal.

As for the wire management i had the power socket moved higher so it would be behind the iMac then the cables are not dropping down to the skirting board level, And the sync cable for the iPad is taped along the edge of the glass top.

The app on the iPad is called Quick Alarm by Diesel Puppet.

I got rid of my awesome Ikea Galant desk because I needed to switch to a standing desk because of my back.

Sadly its on a LOOOONG backorder (I'm nearing the end of that backorder) so until it comes my new computer desk is my painting table.

I only have one monitor set up because I don't trust this table to hold the weight of two

Very cool! I wonder how a standing desk would be like. Maybe I should consider getting one.

As of today, my setup has changed.:) I sold the MacBook Air and the iMac G5 (kitchen) iPad 1&2.

Acquired: new MacBook Pro late 2011 2.2Ghz i7 15" antiglare 8GB RAM 120GB Vertex 3 (w/ Apple Care :) ) and 3 yr old iMac 20" (4Gb RAM).

What you see:

- Thunderbolt Display 27"
- MBP 2.2Ghz i7 15" antiglare 120GB Vertex 3
- MB (with Macbook pro screen and backlight keyboard!) 13" 2Ghz Core 2 Duo 8GB RAM 128GB Toshiba Apple SSD
- MB white 2009 model 2.13Ghz 4GB Ram 60GB Vertex 3. (black on the inside/mod)

- "The new iPad" 32GB + 4G black with beige smart cover
- Time Capsule.
- Aluminium iMac in the kitchen for Spotify with the use of Airfoil software and Airport Express

Boxes (the black iPhone boxes actually include two 2G iPhone's). That's it, I guess.

*taken with iPhone 4S white.

Loving that kitchen!
Curious how you got "MB (with Macbook pro screen and backlight keyboard!)"??
