New speakers (like posted in the purchase thread) as well as a new cover for my ipad :D

Btw I need some help, my screen didn't come with the option to get it raised... and i am wondering if anyone has a nicer solution than what I am doing right now (using a nike shoe box) :/ :D any help would be appreciated :)

You could get something like this:

http://www.amazon.com/Allsop-Metal-...office-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1341777116&sr=1-3

Or an adjustable arm mount like this:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0..._m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=0A9JBT98VTG6MSS3TRG7

I'd go with the first option, personally.

Really depends how high you want your monitor. Your two options as mentioned above are either a stand or a mount.

Here are a few others.

Nice! Its always the centre of attention and takes forever to do fill up! Is yours filled?

We managed to fill it once, probably about 5 years ago. We cashed it all in though, got roughly £300 or something like that  Now, its only got probably just over double the amount of yours, so we are nowhere close :p

so, how do you like working/ playing on the computer standing up?
Do your feet get tired?

I saw your previous post on this setup and I'm really interested in standing up whilst working on my mac but I don't have a back problem just wanna burn extra calories. Makes me wanna put a treadmill underneath :p

kinda like this LMAO!

Still a work in progress, I need to move the outlet below the desk so it is behind it.

Few new things added.

Could you please tell me where you got that standing desk from?

Thanks!

Sure I got it here:

http://www.geekdesk.com/

Its a little pricey (but still much cheaper than competing desks I've found) but absolutely worth every penny. Its motorized so you can move it up and down whenever you want.

They also sell just the legs and motor if you want to use your own top. Its helped tremendously with my bad back.

I adore my standing desk. I bought an anti fatigue mat for under it though. At home my feet don't get tired because I'm in my bare feet but at work (I switched my work desk too) they do since I'm wearing shoes and our floor is rock hard. Ill sit on my knees on my desk chair for about 15 minutes once a day at work but other than that I'm standing the entire time.

I've seen the treadmill setups .I'd like to try that eventually.
