Added a few goodies and cleaned up my old set up:

My set up:

2007 Macbook Pro 17" Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.4Ghz (Running Strong w/SSD)
Apple Cinema Display 23"
Apple Bluetooth Keyboard + Mouse
Canon CanoScan LiDe 200 Flatbed Scanner
Acomdata 1 TB External Hard Drive
HP LaserJet 1025nw Colour Laser Printer
Brother MFC-J425w All In One (Used for feed copying documents electronically)

I tried to hide the wires as best I can as it clutters up the desk. Both my printers I use the wireless function now so I eliminated 2 USB cables there.

Thinking about the Apple Time Capsule to eliminate another wire but wireless backup is too slow and even connected it is only USB 2.0. Would much rather buy an External Hard Drive with 3.0/TB for my future computer.

I want a better keyboard with a number pad but the ones I do like are wired so I will wait until better bluetooth keyboards come out.

Would appreciate any comments on how to organize wires better. Thanks.

How about running the wires connected to your mbp thru the opening on the mbp stand and to the Apple display afterwards? Then you can zip tie them or put all the cables in a sleeve.

On the theme of cable management, does anyone have ideas on how to clean up cords with powerbricks (xbox) as well as about 4 hdmi cords?

Have you tried a cable box? You can probably make something similar with a shoe box. I usually try to hide power bricks and avoid having knots in the cables.

Beautiful setup. Do you actually use your trackpad on the left hand side? I tried that but I keep finding myself moving it to the right hand side.

Kind of, I fall in and out of using it at all. I prefer the mouse, but keep it handy on the left for some quick gestures. Mission Control, Launchpad etc.

*SNIPSNIPSNIP* Thanks.

We have the same Coke money bottle :D I thought I would never see anyone else with one! Been in the family for at least a decade now and its a bit brittle and cracky due to sunlight, but it still gets use!
