Are the tanks you have custom made? I'm sort of interested in getting back to the tank game. After holding a 30g Saltwater Reef throughout college I became a little sick of the upkeep and haven't gone back. Freshwater plant tanks with a few Tetras or something are teasing me.

i got the rimless cube tank (10x10x10 inches) at a fish store in nyc, called pacific aquarium and plants on delancey street. the fluval edge is more readily available at big box stores like petco or petsmart, though. as much as i like the fluval edge, it is a challenge to set up as as planted aquarium b/c of the design. i did what i could do to bring in more light into the tank as seen in the photo.

you should go for it! never had a saltwater tank and stayed away from it mostly because of the upkeep and the monetary investment. freshwater tanks, on the other hand, can be kept much more inexpensively. i have small tanks because they're in my room and limited in space. but, yeah, this has been a very rewarding experience so far and will def keep it up for as long as i can.

Well they look awesome! I always loved the look of a small tank, some bamboo and a nice light around a desk or place of choice. I may look into this a bit more now

What desk is that, and where can it be purchessed?
they are just IKEA desks heh... cheap but really sturdy and flexible in terms of workflow configuration

i believe the blocks are called ANNEFORS or sumfin and the actual desktop is just a plank of white painted VIKA tabletop

Nice tank! I very nearly bought the fluval edge as a second tank! I've got a Juwel Lido and some unbranded 60 litre tank for breeding.

IMO everyone should have one in their workspace - it makes for a very relaxing atmosphere (Assuming your filter isn't clogged...then its loud and annoying :p)

2 questions
1) Are those top speakers audioengine a2's
2) What camera, lenses and flash is that/are those
hey bud, yup those are the little A2s and for the camera gear, i believe that is one of my backup bodies, can't remember which w/ the 24-105 f/4L, 430 EX II speedlite and a 70-200 f/2.8 IS II telephoto
