Nice set up. No need to replace the display if it still works fine! Mine is from 2007 and still going strong.

It "works" only as in there is an image on it. But the color is way off and it's highly noticeable when doing graphics work. But, for now...it stays :D

Temporary college apartment setup. I'm only living here so I can take summer classes:

Mac Setup:

13" MBP
iPhone 4
iPad 1
Magic Mouse
2 Seagate 500GB HDs
Epson Stylus NX420
Bamboo Pen tablet (on top of printer)

I picked up a LaCie MosKeyto 8GB flash drive for ML and it's super tiny.

How you running two screens off your iMac? Is there a dual display port out there? Because i like that set up ALOT!
There are two thunderbolt ports on the 2011 27" that can each be used as a display output, that would be guess.

My iMac has 2 Thunderbolt ports, using the Thunderbolt to DVi converter *HERE* I can run both screens.

Basically the Thunderbolt ports act as Mini Display port.

Hope this helps.

Well that sucks for me! My iMac is the one before thunderbolt! i only have the one display port! boooo hissss!! Nice set up though man!

Slightly better pics this time. I'm hoping for a mini update so I can justify getting a thunderbolt display. The Dell display has served me well, but it's getting old.

You need more books. Half of them are Biology, get some other Nonfiction genre like Nature, Gothic fiction
That bookshelf is begging for it.

:D

It used to be completely full of textbooks (all biology/physics/physiology/etc...) but I have slowly been selling them thanks to Amazon. Hopefully by the time I move next year I can sell the bookshelf too.

I like the setup before 10x more.

I'll pay that.

For the moment it's done out of necessity, while trying to decide between Screens VNC and Apple Remote Desktop. Fully expect that it'll stay configured like the original picture for most of the time.

Still, extra screen real estate doesn't go astray.

Here is my setup... Yes, I've got a messy bulletin board full of old momentos and such. Setup itself is pretty basic, but works great. Old 17" Studio Display, along with a Pro Keyboard and Mouse. Speakers are the excellent Harman/Kardon Soundsticks. The only improvement I'd like to make would be a Magic Trackpad, but that's not essential. Sorry for the picture quality.
