I haven't done this with the macbook air yet o_O sweet :D

Of course I had to ask...Where did you get that PC case? I would love to build some Linux boxes for the family with those cases!

Its a Bitfenix Prodigy (available in white or black), only came out a couple of weeks ago, its Mini ITX only and this system has a i5 3570K and a HD 7970 graphics card.

And how do you like it? It's a great looking case, and when I finally rebuild my PC, I would love to use a case like that.

If they ever come out with a thunderbolt display compatible Mini ITX motherboard i am pretty sure i would end up building a system centered around that case.

I've had a couple of other cases over the last few years (see my youtube link below) and this is my favourite. Only the PSU area is a bit small (18cm, so max psu length of 16cm) so the cables have to be arranged carefully first.

It's quite heavy, even empty as the side panels use quite thick metal.

So I was thinking about getting 27 inch iMac and was wondering for everyone that has one does anyone use a desk that is 46 inches long by 20 inches wide? I would like to known how it works for them thanks

The dimensions of my desk are very close to that and my 27" iMac works fine for me....not too close, not too far.

My setup as of today

I got myself a new desk today, so here is my revised Mac & PC setup. I just need an iMac now to replace the MacBook on the desk as soon as Apple releases some new ones...

Here is a very old pic of my old setup for comparison.

I'm loving the extra room that my new desk provides :)

Being a video game developer my setup is crucial to my work.
I have two Macs at iMac 20 inch iMac 27 inch one of these primarily runs Windows 7 and the other only runs Mac OS X - Mountain Lion.

I also have a laptop which I use when away in London but that is not usually on my setup. I also have a Time Machine backup behind my 27 inch iMac as well as an apple dock for my iPhone 3G.

Oh and just so you know all of this was dictated using mountain lion. God I love this dictation.

Here are some pictures of various setups I have over the last year including a extremely messy one.

If that's the case, may I suggest proofreading before submitting, esp. that second paragraph?

And while I don't care, someone eventually will complain about the lack of timg tags on the first image
