Do you find that you use both the mouse and the trackpad much? I have the Magic Mouse now and I would like to get the Trackpad as well, but I think it may be overkill for me.

Thanks!

To be honest so far i've used the trackpad a lot more than the magic mouse, but thats only just over a days use, im sure theres certain tasks where one will have more use than the other and vice versa.

I'd definitely say it would be a good investment :)

Here is my setup, as it stands now. Just moved into a new place, so it's still a work in progress. Forgive the quality - ill take pics with a proper camera once all is permanent.

Updated my setup recently. Added some Bose speakers and a Apple Wireless keyboard :).

Why do you have so many keyboards?

I work at home 2 days a week, with a PC laptop. I hate windows keyboards/mice with the Mac, and vice versa. So, I keep keyboards for different uses. Also, the MS keyboard and mouse were supplied by said job. Not gonna turn them down.

Oh and the old crumb tray apple keyboard is just there til I decide what to do with it. Remember that whole "for now" part of the setup description. ;)

That is one nice setup btw what is the model of the monitor ?

Thanks! Still needs tweaking but I'm loving it so far.

The monitor is the AOC i2757FH. Love it - got it last October, if memory serves, and it's been terrific so far. I took the stand off and let it stand in "picture frame" mode.

Need to think about a little square riser so I can put the HP dock under the Air. Maybe a piece of maple, stained to semi-match the desk's drawers, and some ikea capita legs in black? Gotta think that one through though.

I have both a mouse and a trackpad I've been using the trackpad a lot more then the mouse. OS X has lots of gestures that benefit from the larger surface of the trackpad.

I also started using OS X with a trackpad so I guess it's a habit aswell.

Where did you get that monitor? I see it at best buy but no other retailer (online or brick & mortar) has them for sale.

edit: nevermind, I found out its a best buy exclusive product. ugh..
