Sweet setup. What brand is the day planner?

Thanks! I honestly couldn't tell you the brand. I bought that thing around '97-98, and it's just been around ever since.

It's out because I am something of a Battlestar Galactica fan - hence the unique clipboard on the wall - and the planner is the same as the one that President Roslin's assistant Billy uses, except his is more a gunmetal gray that brushed aluminum like mine. I came across it in a box when I moved a few weeks ago, and cleaned it up/out for use again. Last notes in it were from mid-2007, not long before I got my first iPhone.

I really like the color scheme you have going on there. It looks super clean. Just curious, but why did you decide to get rid of the two monitors for a single monitor?

I have 2 at work, but just 1 at home. Been driving me nuts as I've been working from home since Friday. I guess the op just didn't have the use.
I'd be more concerned over the positioning of that Mac Pro. Doesn't it get in the way and roast your legs in summer?

Been lurking for a few months now. Still not done with the setup. Have to get a new chair for sure, I am currently sitting on some fierce metal stool-type chair that kills my back. The iPad Mini and the bluetooth keyboard were added on Thursday, though it seems the iPad might have some Wifi Issues. Wanting to remove (some of?) the shelves on the left side of the desk, as a rain mStand would fit in there perfectly with Maccy (yes, that is his name) raised a bit off the desk. So far it does the trick though! Oh, and props to jedolly for letting me have the url to their sweet desktop background.

Couldn't find anywhere else to post this...

To those of you with black (or any other dark colored) desks, how does dust show up on it? Obviously a dark desk will show dust a lot more than a light wood desk would, but is it noticeable enough to the point where you're disgusted or uncomfortable with it?

Of course you have to clean your desk from time to time, but nobody wants to clean twice a day or anything.

Right now I have a birch veneer desk setup, but I'd really like black desks later on. Something like this:

http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/50121453/

no glass desks or anything.

Thanks for your input!
