Just bought this iMac from a friend. The desk was free, got it out of a dumpster at work, added some velvet cloth to it and looks pretty sweet I think. The Xbox is my old debug kit that RRoD'ed and I haven't gotten around to messing with it, so it sits.
 
New apartment, new set! :)

Still some cable management left to do, but you get the idea :)

That second pic is 11.9 MB big, maybe use Preview to resize it to a manageable resolution like 2560 x .... and even reduce its actual size upon saving it. This pic freezes my humble Safari a bit and not everyone has such a fast internet access or even has a capped data plan.
And for a 7D photo it is quite blurred, but at an exposure of 1/13 it is to be expected.

Really dislike them, thats why I went with books. Too bad the imac can't be on an arm, or I would've went that route.

you're right, I was in a hurry and didn't feel like retaking, it was taken in an awkward position.

Its a custom made oak table, but you can do the same with any table top and pick out your own legs.

finally, my new setup :D

it will look way better once my room is painted and all my wall stuff is in frames, but this will do for now :)
