Well, since I've moved to Lisbon 'bout 5 months ago, I just started assembling my home office again on sunday.
This is the progress so far and there is still much more to come I hope..

And since I live about 500m away from an Ikea, I should be getting some of these soon:

Love the desk! I have the same MacBook btw :p How well does it perform? Does it worth to upgrade to Lion?

new apartment

Well this is my new apartment.

I'm building up from a side table made of boxes

to an actual table/desk

There will be more to come as I start to gain some momentum in this new area :)

I need a smaller desk. Don't need as much space anymore since I'm wall mounting my displays. Love seeing and getting ideas in this thread for my new desk. I will be finishing off my basement soon for my man cave/office :D

I disassembled my 3 27" monitors and mounted them in a custom aluminum frame. I'm currently waiting on my articulating wall mount.

Anyone interested, I started a build log on overclock.net here. (it's still a work in progress, will be done by the weekend.)

August 2013 Setup

Hello everyone.

Here is my currently setup.

MacBook Pro with Retina display (2.6ghz/16gb memory/512gb flash)
Rain Design mStand
27 inch LED Cinema Display
27 inch Samsung SyncMaster 275t
Klipsch RF82 speakers and Classé DR-9 amp

The desk is from a company called Preston Furniture Co. (Made in Sep 1959)

I'm thinking about getting some sort of dual monitor stand to free up some more desk space, and I would also like to get a second apple display (to replace the old Samsung). Not sure how soon that will happen.

i sold my 2011 mac mini & ps3 to get a gaming pc, which i then hackintosh. for the occasional video editing that i do (just youtube videos), the quad core i7 ivy bridge and gtx 680 is a better experience than my sole remaining "real" mac which is the 2010 mbp you see hibernating below my desk on top of a canon pixma printer/scanner.

Just a suggestion, but wouldn't you have a lot more room if you put the Mac Pro under the desk?

I've got one of those stupid desks that has cupboards & drawers just about everywhere so there's no where for it to go. Funnily enough I just ordered a new desk today that should give me a lot more surface space to work with.

Or you could alway's have ordered a new Mac Pro. It would fit just about any where!

The 12" powerbook is one of the best notebooks Apple ever made! Because it was way ahead of its time, in terms of portability and design. Such a pretty computer!! Part of me misses the "power PC days". When "the cloud" was something in the sky. lol
