Hey all... I'm hoping someone will remember this post. Maybe a year or so ago, someone had posted a picture that had an older Macintosh (maybe a Classic or 512) in a display case next to his desk. It almost looked like a museum piece... From what I remember, the case was somewhat tall, but it's width and depth wasn't much bigger than the mac itself; I believe it was lit as well.
Anyone remember this?

Not on the photo: other accessoires like the SuperDrive, a couple of 4tb Western Digital external drives, a sweet sounding Marshall Kilburn bluetooth speaker, the awesome Sony A7iii and more peripherals.

That’s a VERY RARE Apple Portable on the right of the bookshelf! (All white)
I’ve only once saw it clearing out storage a couple years back an glencore. Had I known what it was I would’ve Kept it. Damn heavy as it’s carry case was part of the machine. Full disks and manual as well (Falconbridge machine). Well at least it’s home with a full computer geek so it’s not in some junk heap.

Here’s mine since I’ve sorted my cables out, have my Ethernet cables temporarily taped to the wall but will be fixing them properly when I have the time to do it
Of all the setups in so many threads over the last decade here on the forums that I’ve seen ... this is amongst my top 3 favourites.

I did some rearranging of furniture today. I moved this table up front for the MacBook Air and my writing journals. I put the Mac mini that was on it onto a different desk which still resides in the back room.
With this new configuration I can write more comfortably, listen to my stereo HomePod's (not pictured) and have a nice view outside from across the room.

Not to keep posting in this thread but I keep simplifying and tweaking. I am no longer an iPad owner, and I swapped the Belkin wireless charging pad for the Logitech stand (so much better), and moved things around a bit:
What monitor are you using on that arm? It looks awfully thin & sleek!
Start of a New Year (hopefully a peaceful one). This is my much abused starting point that I could not bring myself to post alongside my beloveds beautiful desk
.The printer is in my Shark Net (private/keepout/verbotten room).

I LOVE the design of these ACDs and to me, they look much better than the iMac. There's something so simple and classy about them with the white side panels. Love it.

Tweaked my setup for university. Not the most glamorous of location, but we make do! Bias lighting provided by a Philips Hue Play on a Twelve South Backpack on the back of the display.
