Just curious, is that a special wallpaper/app that tells time? If so, where’s you get it?

Got to love some cable tidy OCD. Can’t stand wires everywhere!@macdotcom I really like that desk with the cable routing out the back like that. Really clean setup. Even the kid's shoes are lined up perfectly.

No such thing! But where are the cables/power for the lamp, the MacBook (Pro/Air), the monitor, etc). That's TOO clean...

It's the Barkaboda:Which ikea counter top is that? I love it!
The only thing I don't like about my current setup is the silver USB cord from the keyboard, I'm considering trying to wrap it in electrical tape but not sure that will make it any better... View attachment 830917
I have considered that.. I have the mouse from the same era that I'm not using, it has similar cable so I could test a few things on it. One thing I thought about is trying to color it with a black sharpie or similar perm marker. I think that will allow it some translucency like the keys have.I bet you could spray paint it pretty easily and you'd never know it wasn't black from the factory.
Drill a hole in the desk and thread it through underneath the keyboard? The only thing I don't like about my current setup is the silver USB cord from the keyboard, I'm considering trying to wrap it in electrical tape but not sure that will make it any better... View attachment 830917
Or just duct tape... I mean they sell it in black now .Drill a hole in the desk and thread it through underneath the keyboard?
Or some black heatshrink maybe?
It it will fit over the usb plug. The bigger sizes might not shrink enough.Or just duct tape... I mean they sell it in black now .
In all seriousness though I think that’s a hard one to coverup, although black heat shrink is probably the best idea.
I do have a Logitec wireless kb with backlight, however I've been wanting to use this one for a long time. This one has a pretty nice feel to it and its kind of fun being able to utilize one that is so old - it came with my PowerMac G4 Digital Audio (I think it was originally with those, however I bought it used back in like 2005 so not 100% sure). It it will fit over the usb plug. Or you could just buy a wireless keyboard!
