M1 Mac Mini, 16/512
(2) Dell 27” 4K monitors S2722QC
Keychron K2 keyboard
Logitech MX Master 3 mouse
Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 speakers

Then I have a separate windows PC used solely for viewing my security camera feed:

Dell Optiplex 990
Dell 27” 2K monitor S2721D (which uses the same exact case as the other monitors)
Controlled with same mouse and keyboard via Barrier app.
what desk lamp/light is that?

Here is my current setup when using my M1 MacBook Air in clamshell mode...View attachment 1904197
The G-Technology 4-TB Thunderbolt-3 GDrive can provide power to the Air, but the battery charges VERY slowly. When I need to charge the battery normally, I plug my USB-C AC adapter into the Falwedi USB-C hub. I also have a Lightning-to-USB-A cable plugged into the back of my Apple 27" LED Cinema Display, for charging/syncing my iPhone SE and for charging my Magic Keyboard and Mouse if need be.
I luv that desk it has character.

My upgraded setup as of Summer 2021. After years of having a horrible plastic desk, it's nice to have some wood under my palms.

- Dell 27" 4K (P2721Q)
- Keychron K3
- Logitech MX3

Blue case?

No just a reflection of the Hue bulb

Very nice... please tell me about that light strip.

Honestly do not remember, just a 3 way bar off Amazon

Thanks for sharing. What's the monitor ?

Here is a link...it's been an amazing monitor for about a year now

Taken a while to get to this point and I think this is not v3 of this kind of layout and desk but LOVE IT!

Thinking of making a few adjustments (Remove MacMini M1) and then replace MacBook Air for MacBook Pro 14.

Also going to upgrade the iPad 12.9 to Gen 5 soon (I think!).

I promise you it all does have a use ;)

Wow, that’s a lot of real estate! Nice setup.
Do your use sidecar twice? Do you always use sidecar (auto start somehow?) or just when needed?

I only use Sidecar occasionally on the iPad 12.9 under the screen. Typically the top iPad 11 Pro is set on Things 3 Today view so I can see my todo list and then the iPad 12.9 has 'media' on or sky sports news and then the iPad mini I use as a notebook.

In honesty I usually have the MacBook closed unless I am on a long Teams call and my RAM is maxing out at all.

Love it! Curious, what is the depth of that desk?

that's really impressive.

genuinely curious about your workflow. how does the division of digital real estate work for you across so many screens? do you actually end up utilizing most of these screens at once?

I HATE MS Teams - such a damn resource hog! It's honestly worst than Internet Explorer, yet MS is now bundling it in Win11 a bad move. I'm livid that work is forcing to use this as an upgrade to Skype for Business (Win10 environment).

Curious ... I get you use the iPad 11 Pro for Things (although why not use Magnet macOS app and pin to a section on that 34/43" screen dedicated to Things! on macOS? (separate purchase maybe?)

But having 3 iPads with 1 of occasional use seems overkill or wasteful of $ resources not to mention power consumption.

I'd probably hold out on the MBP 14" if you can for the MBA M2 mid-2022 but if you must upgrade that, sell the iPad mini stick with the 2 Pros.

Hello - MS Teams is my life so frustrating.

I like just always having my Things list opening front of me, its overkill I know but just ensures I do keep it up to date and not getting side tracked, I have a second mouse on the desktop which controls that screen

The mini is a replacement for a moleskin every year and pens so long term investment ;)

I have ordered a MBP 14 and going to see what it is like - whilst I agree the MBA 22 could be interesting if(!) the rumours are true, I am not about the colours and white bezel!

OK so...

Mac mini M1 16GB running everything (soon to be replaced by MBP 14 if I like it);

49inch - Teams far left, then usually excel, powerpoint and safari switching in middle and right
Portrait monitor - Emails full screen and when I hit the middle button on MX Master3 WhatsApp pops up at bottom
Top iPad (11 pro) - Things 3 (ToDo list) with a mouse on desk to control
iPad Pro 12.9 - Media like sky sport news / BBC News. Then also when I am not in my home office, it usually comes with my to other rooms etc
iPad min - Moleskin notebook/diary replacement

Have just added AirPods Max too ?
