I use a Dell U2719D, while it is fine, it is nothing compared to the screen on the MacBook. I would love an entry-level display from Apple comparable to XDR.
Nice setup. What monitor are you using?

I really really want to see Apple do lower-cost entry point that acts as a companion to the MacBook Air & MacBook Pro for prosumer & business professional use case. I use an 27" LG 4K today, and while it's "fine" it's not what it should be

Finally sourced the matching wireless keyboard for my G4 mod. Now it's almost perfect, just need to fit the Mini into the iMac.

Curious if you’ll connect the bus-powered-usb SuperDrive that Apple sells just below/above the Mac Mini within the iMac lamp?!
Its been 6 years. But I am back to the Mac. Got a sweet deal on a gently used M1 Air.

’Welcome back Kotter’ ;)

Curious if the M1 Air cannot extend to 2 external monitors (lid closed/open)? I didn’t see this info any any reviews for months when it debuted.

My home office was going through some construction but now that that's done I can finally put the computer back in. 2021 16"MBP. Dell 32" Curved and LG 27". I also have to fit a Dell laptop into this for some contract work so its been a work in progress. I have kept the cords hidden as best as I can. So far its works great. Just need to add the flatbed scanner into this and it should be done. For now.

The office itself needs more light. Currently the only light is an overhead fan light. Not sure if I want one of those monitor lights or just some desk lamps.

If I'm putting the 2012 Mini inside the iMac there wouldn't be much space left for an optical drive. If I'm putting a M1 Mini inside which motherboard is about 50% smaller it would fit as @connor55 also did it in the forum.

Dear lord, that is some speakers, and so close, :D how do you manage the output?

They are pretty big, but boy do they sound good. Very good near-field listening. Just need to wait for my USB cable to arrive tomorrow so I can use the built in DAC to play Apple Hi-Res Lossless. Currently using bluetooth and it still sounds good.

I assume with speakers like that you don't really need a subwoofer? I have the old Harmon Kardon 2.1 Soundsticks, but I'm looking for bluetooth speakers as I use my MBA now as my main desktop driver, and the Harmon Kardon's are left plugged into my gaming PC.

Anyone recommend some bluetooth speakers? Those M20s look cool but might be a bit big for my desk. Then again, I don't mind paying for quality!

The bass for me is fine, especially if you place them close to a wall. You also have a switch on the back that can be set to 1-3 levels of bass boost. They do have a sub-out so that is an option in the future if you find you want it.
